Story
Meet Rio Despite my willingness to foster and possibly keep him, my schedule doesn’t allow me to take care of him properly. While we don't know his exact age, he is energetic like a young dog and loves being outside and playing with other dogs. A sweet dog like him deserves someone who can take good care of him.

These pups are in Spring Lake, New Jersey too!

UPDATE ON PICKLES THE COURTESY POST HUSKY MIX. Contact by text 732 546 8805 and your information will be forwarded to Pickles' owner. Apply at rescueridge.com once you text. "Pickles is doing great.  Now one year old.  He is a neutered Husky/Shephard mix (mostly Husky), according to the vet.  He loves to play to get all his energy out, so a fenced-in yard is best for him, but he is currently trained on an electric fence.   He has a girlfriend and just loves all other dogs he meets.  He has never been with cats so do not know how he will react.  Pickles has been receiving training and hopes someone will continue it.  He’s great with all people of all ages and children.  The kennel where he goes to daily where he loves to play, the woman said he’s a fabulous dog.  Just has lots of energy and needs a companion.  However, he is very strong.  His problem is getting out of cars as something had to have happened to him in the past.  Could be he was dropped off at several locations when he was a puppy  Pickles needs a playmate to keep him busy and help him run all day.  He does run on his own, but he tends to get bored quickly.  He’s very smart and always wants to please.  If you or anyone you know is interested in this sweet, loving puppy, please contact me.  My sister is walking with a cane and he’s too much for her to handle on her own.  She needs a therapy dog who is older." Pickles is a courtesy post. Please fill out an application at rescueridge.com   and your information will be sent to his family who needs to rehome him. located in Monmouh County, NJ. Here is the information from his family:"Loves people of all ages and wants to be with you and play. He loves other dogs but not sure about cats so I say no cats. He is about 1 year old now. According to the vet, he’s a Mix. He’s Husky/Stafford Pit and perhaps Shepherd. Short hair dog. He would be great with other dogs so he can play. Knows "Sit" and "Paw." Needs room to run around. The only reason my sister needs to find him a home is because he jumps. My sister is on a cane and not sturdy. She has fallen and can no longer take chances that she will get hurt badly. He may need some training in that area. He does know some commands. He has been in a kennel but not in crate. He has gone to someone’s house who house sits about 6 dogs or so at a time. He loved it and the woman had no issues with him. He played all the time with the other dogs and even her two great Danes. I would say he’s high-energy type. He has a fear of cars, getting into a car, because he was dumped a few times by previous owner who did not take the time to be with him and dumped him on his ex who then did not want him either." Please apply to help this dog-friendly, sweet young pup find the right family to love him. Please text 732 546 8805 to let us know you applied and we will alert his owner. .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
Meet Noah: Your Future Furry Companion! If you are looking for a friend who will love and adore you, you found him! Noah, a sweet 6-7-year-old Pomchi, recently lost his mom and is now waiting for a new family to bring him home. This adorable boy is currently in a kennel at Rescue Ridge in Monmouth County, NJ, and he's hoping to find a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the king of his castle. Noah loves to snuggle and will happily keep you company. He's good with other dogs but prefers to be the only pet. He doesn't get along with cats and hasn't lived with children, so a child-free home is ideal. A nice fenced-in yard would be a real treat!  This little guy walks wonderfully on a leash and is house-trained, though he doesn't like crates. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Noah could be your perfect match! Interested in adopting Noah? Fill out an application at rescueridge.com and text 732-546-8805 to set up a meet and greet. Please note that only those who are a good fit will be contacted. Let's give Noah the loving home he deserves! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 No phone calls will be answered.
