Hi, I'm Mocha! We've never met but I already love you because I love EVERYONE- men, women, children- I love them all.
I'm very smart and like learning new tricks. I am a bit of a Velcro dog- don't be surprised if I peek my head in the shower just to make sure you're still there. I want to play, but I'm more of a fan of "chase me than fetch. When I'm super excited, I like to try and talk- I guess that's the husky in me! I would love to be a lap dog but I'm a big girl. If you set boundaries with me, I do good at respecting the furniture and will only jump up when you call me.
I am house trained - I have had zero accidents in my home. I chew my toys, but not the shoes. I take treats very gently. I love going on walks but get excited by small critters and other dogs/people. I do walk best in a harness.
I'm told I have a prey drive toward smaller animals - cats, dogs, squirrels, bunnies. I am dog selective and need slow intros to other dogs. I would be ok with another dog in the home as long as they are my size or bigger and we've had proper introductions with plenty of supervised playtime.
I do great in my kennel. I know it's time to relax when my foster tells me to go to my room. Once in my kennel, she always gives me a treat and I have no accidents while she's at work.
As you can see, I'm gorgeous and I know it. I hate to brag, but my foster says I'm a very sweet, loving, smart, goofy, playful dog. I need a family that understands that I may never be a dog that can go to the dog park or socially hang out with other dogs due to my dog sensitivity. But I do promise to love you unconditionally and be the sweetest dog ever to my family.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
