Story
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m searching for a new home for Dixie, my sweet 4-year-old dog. Dixie has been a cherished part of my life, and this decision is one of the hardest I’ve ever had to make. He’s a loyal, affectionate, and joyful companion who deserves a home where he will continue to thrive and be loved unconditionally. Dixie is full of life and loves his daily walks—it’s his favorite time to explore and enjoy the outdoors. He’s super friendly and has lots of playful energy that will bring so much happiness to your days. When he’s not playing, Dixie is a big cuddle bug who loves to curl up next to you and enjoy quiet, cozy moments. He’s up-to-date on all his vaccinations. Dixie thrives in an environment where he gets plenty of love, attention, and interaction. He would do best in a home with someone who enjoys regular walks or outdoor activities or belly rubs. I’m looking for a family or individual who will love and care for Dixie.

Story
Frankie is a super fun, athletic guy with lots of unconditional love to give. He came to us as a stray and was never claimed. He is a happy, social dog that gets along very well with people. Frankie loves walks, car rides and spending time doing anything that entertains his brain. He does good with dogs his same size but is not suited for a home with small dogs. A slow intro and supervision will ensure the best outcome for a lifelong friendship with all dogs. Frankie has a very high prey drive and can not live in a home with cats, small animals or poultry. He has proven that he will hurt and even kill anything that is small. His activity level is high and he will need ways to keep busy to reduce bad behavior because of boredom. A daily walk and some fetch time will help keep him entertained and fit. A fence is not required and potential adopters should know that Frankie can climb a 4 ft fence. This guy is clean in his kennel, listens well and is a volunteer favorite. He is approximately 4 years old, vaccinated and neutered. He was named after Frank Sinatra because of his blue eyes. If interested in meeting this charming, active guy please email mdowney@iowatelecom.net for an adoption application.
