Story
Milo has been with us for over 4 yrs., since he was a 6 week puppy. He was a wedding gift from my husband to me so you can imagine how difficult it is for us to have to rehome him. Milo is a good boy and extremely playful. Milo was diagnosed with seizures last year. He’s been on medications since then and does really well with them. My husband has been working a lot and now I will be rejoining the workforce as well. We have 2 toddlers that keep us busy so unfortunately we are unable to provide Milo with the time and support he needs due to our busy schedules. We also live in a small condo and our neighbor is a grinch. We are looking to rehome Milo to a family that is willing to care for him and shower him with love. We just want him to find his forever home and are willing to assist with his meds.

Story
ABOUT GHOST Ghost is a playful and energetic 2-year-old Husky/Malamute mix! Ghost came to HAP when his owner was incarcerated and could no longer care for him. In his previous home, he lived with a child and another dog. While most huskies tend to be stubborn with new people, that is not our boy Ghost! He loves to cuddle up with his people and will lay his head right on your lap! While he is not very treat motivated, ear and belly scratches are a sure way to win this boys heart. He loves to be outside where he can keep an eye on all the activity around the shelter. Ghost is a strong boy that loves to walk and is learning leash manners while walking. In typical Husky fashion, he likes to do things on his own time frame and likes graze on his food throughout the day. He is a very opinionated guy who has no problem letting you know when he would like some attention by ‘talking’ to you or ‘singing.’ Due to his vocal talent, he would likely do best in a single-family house or townhome! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
