Husky

Female, Adult
Davis, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
She’s 5 and dramatic. She loves head pats and occasional rough play. She’s ok with kids as long as they aren’t all over her. She came from the shelter and she seems to have bad history with other dogs. She gets very anxious if she sees other dogs too close so some good training would greatly help her. She’s great at alerting if someone is coming up to you or your door. Food wise, she can eat almost everything. For walks, she can go for a long time if you let her. Keeping her on a short leash works best unless there's no dogs around. She can sleep anywhere but she has her preferences. She loves to sprawl out on wood floors or next to a door. Or, she’ll curl up on a blanket or pillow. Vax: Up to date except: Leptospirosis (exp:10/18/24) Annual Heartworm Exam (exp:9/26/24) She has some attitude but she's just a big playful goof. Definitely great at cheering you up if you're sad too! She deserves a loving and fun home! She'd be your best friend and would love to adventure with you!

Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am seeking a new home for my 5-year-old Husky, Aspen. She is an energetic, intelligent, and affectionate companion who thrives with outdoor activities like running, hiking, long walks, and trips to the dog park. She is housebroken and knows basic commands but can be stubborn, as Huskies often are. She gets along well with other dogs, adults, and children. A securely fenced yard is essential as Aspen tends to wander. She gets very excited when she sees squirrels and birds, and will often chase or pull for them. Regular grooming is needed to maintain her stunning coat. I am looking for an experienced adopter who can provide Aspen with the active lifestyle she needs. A rehoming fee applies for a seat cover, food, toys, treats, bed, vitamins, dog gate, and a vacuum brush. Please reach out with details about yourself and your home if you believe you’re the right fit for Aspen.
