Story
Ashley & Toby are a dynamic duo looking for love together in a forever home. These two are pups are guaranteed to keep your lap warm this fall! These two sweet peas act like an old married couple! Ashley is always ready to sit on someone's lap and get tummy rubs! She's INSANELY fluffy and loves attention and all humans! She loves her treats (as you can probably tell by her chonkey frame) and she's always ready to run up to you with the funniest most loving smile! Toby is a little bit more cautious around new people, but if there's one thing, he knows it's that he loves his wife, Ashley ! Toby loves to sit on everyone's lap and get gentle pets! Toby is 15 pounds of pure snuggly Chihuahua! Both Toby and Ashley are housetrained, crate, trained, and they get along well with smaller dogs and gentle bigger dogs. Toby and Ashley are such easy-going, loving house, pets, who just can't wait to find their forever home! *Please note that the first step is to fill out an application (It does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ) , spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Both are spayed/ neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for each of these dogs is $250 ($500 for the bonded pair) which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
Meet Sassy! We don’t know Sassy’s full story, but she ended up with an owner who had affection for her but was overwhelmed and not equipped to care for her. She had none of her required early shots, was unspayed, and was kept out in the backyard during the day without flea/tick protection. She had chewed and scratched her skin to the point of infection, losing some of her pretty flowy coat. Thankfully, the owner knew he was in over his head and asked one of our local foster moms, Rita, for help. He picked the right person to engage, and Sassy is now officially a Worthy Dog. Sassy has been in her local foster home for about four weeks now, living with two other small senior dogs. She does well as part of a pack but can be a little too playful for the senior dogs in her home, so we think she would love to have a younger dog playmate in her new home. Her foster mom, Rita, has been arranging regular playdates for her, and she has a blast. She does well meeting new dogs and loves playing chase in the backyard. You can just see her joy. Sassy has been fully vetted now, spayed and microchipped, and the skin infections have been addressed. Her gorgeous, flowing coat is filling in. Sassy came from a home with no structure or understanding of dogs, so she needed a little time to learn the basics and rules of home life. We checked in with Rita, who shared this update: “Sassy is very playful with lots of energy. She loves to cuddle and gives lots of kisses. She loves to play with toys, especially her rope toy and is good with other younger dogs that will play with her. She is almost potty trained and fully crate trained - she has never had an accident in her crate Sassy has very good leash skills and loves to go on walks. She is not shy and loves meeting new people and other dogs. She’s a very fun, good-natured pup who will entertain you. She likes music and will sometimes sing to it.” This sweet girl is a confident, happy, good-natured pup who will make an excellent family dog or is well-suited for an active couple. She would love a pup buddy in her new home but is confident enough to be an only dog, too. She needs a fun, active family who is ready to go and do and will include her in their adventures. Apply today! Story
Looking for a new home for my young Pomeranian. I don't have the time to train and socialize him properly. He needs a loving home with a patient hand. He has never bitten anyone or other dogs, but barks aggressively. Very sweet to his internal pack. Housebreaking has been a challenge as he is a small dog. He is only 4 lbs but very healthy, my vet says he is the healthiest Pomeranian she has ever seen in her practice.

Story
Kahl the paw salute expert! Kahl is estimated at 3 years old, and is a wonderful pup to be around. He seeks his human and loves to reach out to be hugged while jumping on his hind legs. He's quick to show his tummy and loves belly rubs and scratches. Very playful and good with kids, cats and dogs. He greets everyone with a tail wag, and demands pets by raising his paw and placing it on the foster's hand :) Kahl may be small in size (20lbs but can lose a few) but he has a great personality. He's wasn't neutered early enough by his owner so he'll take a minute to learn house training manners. To apply to meet Kahl, please fill out our non-binding application located here: https://bit.ly/4d7XoKd make sure to read page one in its entirety.
