But look at me now! After a successful surgery on March 5, 2024, to fix a hernia and remove a benign tumor, I’m all healed up and ready for a new beginning. 💖 🧴 Special Care: My skin’s a bit dry, so I’m looking for someone who loves spa days as much as I do. Meet Jax! This handsome boy is a sweetie pie. He has a lovely temperament and gets along with everyone he meets. He is good with other dogs but we have not seen him around cats.  Jax looks like a mix of chihuahua and pomeranian, a charming look with soft fluff around his ears. Jax will do well in most any home or apartment.  He is a smart, active dog, and providing him a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation is essential. When his needs are met, he’s a wonderful companion, but without enough activity, he may explore his environment with his teeth! However, while he is an active pup, he also adores curling up and sleeping beside someone on the couch.  Jax had some anxiety about being left alone but he's improved so much over the past couple weeks! For this reason, getting him crate-trained will be very beneficial for him. Jax is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. Say hello to the cutest little soot gremlin to grace our rescue, little Smudge! Our tiny and floofy friend is ready to find a family of his own. He’s a happy ball of joy eager to share his love with anyone brave enough to welcome him into their lap and risk a fate of endless kisses! Smudge loves people and can’t wait to make new friends! He adores being by your side and will eagerly occupy an open lap. Snuggles and attention are the best thing in the world for this adorable little guy and he won’t hesitate to let you know when he’s getting low on his cuddle quota! Have a dog or cat or both? Smudge is a friend to all and would love a furry playmate! Don’t have other pets? Smudge is down to be your one and only! He’s a go with the flow kind of kid and knows how to make friends of all kinds! As long as he gets to be included, he’s happy as can be! The oh so beautiful inside & out Manolo whose picture screamed the disgusting neglect he was in, in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He was posted looking so very defeated. Yes, it appears at the age of 5 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable & disgusting. We rescued this beautiful little lad & his friend Findi from the same home after no one was coming for them. The even sadder part about this is their owner claimed they were strays but it was quickly determined he was not telling the truth. They were going to lose their lives. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Without his outstanding foster dad, this would not of happened for Manolo. Manolo who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as his foster dad in CA did & we do. After we rescued Manolo he was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. The absolute insanity to think this baby doll ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Manolo just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, he ate multiple bowls of food as if he is making up for lost time. Manolo is a very sweet gentle soul, he is so easy considering what he has endured. Manolo is a very sweet dog & loves his humans once he knows them. Lays with you & can't be happier being petted & touched. He also loves to be with his buddies & just lay with them or do whatever they are doing. We do know that Manolo & Findi are not bonded & he can stress her out. He loves everyone he meets after he knows them & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. He also enjoys snuggling up on the couch & will jump on the couch & spend his day relaxing. We cannot believe someone would be so cruel & neglectful to Manolo. Manolo’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. Manolo has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He has also started getting used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will just let you dry him. Manolo rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window. He still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Manolo where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. Manolo is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Manolo has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. We also have tested him in a daycare with other breeds of dogs & does well. Manolo is roughly 5 years old 12.6 lbs & is perhaps a pomeranian mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. Had a dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays. He had several teeth removed, 1 incisor, 1 canine, 2 premolars, 1 molar. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & being dewormed. Manolo has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children. But we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Manolo was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Manolo’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Charlie & his friends were bought back to the WA state where he is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Charlie now has the most beautiful sweet personality. At first he would run away from his foster mum because let’s face it he had never been in a loving home before & had to adjust to a normal life. His fur was also very sparse because of the lack of nutrition as the breeders feed them the worst food. He is now one confident little chap now with the help of his loving foster mum & he is now full of life love & energy & is up for any adventure that comes his way. His fur now looks amazing too. He is extremely sweet but is very loving & a very cuddly little lad. We know he adores being picked up & held & doesn’t mind it at all & will even run up to his foster mum for her to pick him up & get into her recycler with her. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Charlie is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating now. At first he was uncertain because they are fed such a poor quality diet. He eats a combination of a clean diet meaning, raw fruits & vegetables, grains, eggs proteins & supplements along with treats. He absolutely loves his treats. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He will want to sleep in bed with you & already does with his foster mum & will wake her up by giving her kisses. He is such a sweet boy who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone & is so very sweet. He is wonderful with being bathed & groomed & good with the hairdryer. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash as in his foster home he freely gets to go outside in the backyard. Charlie rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home & to & from the vets with us & his loving foster home. But he does absolutely amazing in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Charlie as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Charlie where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Charlie is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Hi, I’m Taeri! I’m a 1-year-old male Pomsky (a mix of Pomeranian and Siberian Husky), weighing in at 11 kg (24 lbs). I may have the looks of a Husky, but I’m small in size and fully grown, making me the perfect bundle of fluff and charm. I was raised by humans in the past, so I absolutely adore people. Whether you’re a familiar face or someone I just met, I’ll happily trot up to say hello. I’m also great at making friends with other dogs—playdates are my favorite! I’m full of energy and love to play, so a home where I can run around in a yard or enjoy plenty of park time would make me very happy. While I’m a smart pup who’s already mastered “sit” and “paw,” I do have a bit of a stubborn streak on walks—I like to follow my nose wherever it takes me! But don’t worry, I’m in training and picking things up quickly. My eagerness to learn (and love for tasty treats) means I’ll soon be a pro. I have no trouble riding in cars or taking baths, and I prefer to avoid conflict when playing with other dogs. If a friend tries to pick a fight, I’ll simply walk away with my usual cool-headed charm. Sometimes, I get a little too excited when I see people or other pups far away and may bark, but it’s only because I want to join the fun. Oh, and I also have the Husky’s signature howling voice—it’s adorable, trust me! Since I’m still young, I’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. I thrive on companionship and may get a little anxious if left alone for too long. Nugget is a super sweet little guy who loves to cuddle up in his person’s arms and watch the world go by. He will crawl up in your lap any chance he gets as he feels safe and secure and loves any cozy spot he can find. He has done great with other dogs in our care and would be a wonderful additional dog to a home. He would also do fine as an only dog soaking up all the love and attention! Nugget would love a forever home that takes him on daily walks and lets him cuddle up on the couch. He is looking for a home to call his own and hopes to find it soon!
