While she may initially be shy, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people, once she feels safe and secure, Babycakes is a loyal and affectionate companion.Babycakes thrives in a calm, patient home where she can slowly come out of their shell at their own pace. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Gidget from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 6 year old female Pomeranian.  I am about 11 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,395 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application. Story
Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Blanky!  I’m a 3 year-old male Pomeranian Mix, weighing in at a petite 12 lbs. My life so far has been a journey of survival, but now I’m ready to start a new chapter filled with love, kindness, and joy.   I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me face unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Millions of dogs are mistreated or slaughtered each year, and I was one of the fortunate ones saved by compassionate rescuers. They gave me the gift of life and a chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope.   After being rescued, I was scared and unsure of what to expect. But with time, patience, and care, I’ve learned to trust and open my heart. Now, I’m ready to leave my past behind and find a forever home where I can truly thrive.  I’m a gentle, sweet, and loving companion who enjoys being around people of all ages, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would love a family who can give me the affection and attention.  I’ve been missing. Whether it’s a stroll in the park, a cozy snuggle on the couch, or a car ride to new adventures, I’ll be by your side, making every moment special.  I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need time to adjust and blossom. To make my transition smoother, we recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer, who can help me settle into my new life with ease. My adoption fee of $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) covers Spay/Neuter.  DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, Deworming and Heartworm testing, Microchipping, Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle. For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.   When you adopt me, you’re not just giving me a new start—you’re helping save other dogs still waiting for their miracle. Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in need. Email admin@gingerspetrescue.org to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible. I’ve come so far, and now all I need is a loving family to call my own. Will you be the one to give me the happy ending I’ve been dreami ng of?December 27, 2024, 11:55 pm

Story
Meet Jax! This handsome boy is a sweetie pie. He has a lovely temperament and gets along with everyone he meets. He is good with other dogs but we have not seen him around cats.  Jax looks like a mix of chihuahua and pomeranian, a charming look with soft fluff around his ears. Jax will do well in most any home or apartment.  He is a smart, active dog, and providing him a fair amount of exercise and mental stimulation is essential. When his needs are met, he’s a wonderful companion, but without enough activity, he may explore his environment with his teeth! However, while he is an active pup, he also adores curling up and sleeping beside someone on the couch.  Jax had some anxiety about being left alone but he's improved so much over the past couple weeks! For this reason, getting him crate-trained will be very beneficial for him. Jax is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
