Story
This bitty senior fella has personality to spare! We aren't sure just how old he is but he is 10+ for sure. Pip only has 2 teeth left so he is forever sticking his tongue out at us. He has no trouble whatsoever keeping up with those young whipper snappers though. Due to some kind of past potential trauma we are unsure of, Pip tends to veer left when walking. He just sort of follows his head. Pip still has lots of love to give and has won the hearts of our volunteers within moments of meeting him. WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
