Story
Ollie and Lulu were surrendered to us when their owner no longer had the time to care for them. They both had untreated medical issues and severe dental disease, leaving them extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. After receiving treatment they became almost entirely different dogs. Ollie and Lulu may be seniors but they sure do like to go for walks and run around the yard together. They are a volunteer favourite because of their goofy and sweet dispositions. They are selective with dogs and would only do well in a home with another calm dog that does not intimidate or become rough with them. Ollie does bark at other dogs in passing, while Lulu ignores them. Ollie and Lulu would do well in just about any home. They have been great with respectful children that are experienced with dogs. Lulu can sometimes have grumpy moments when she wants her space to nap. It's important to look for the obvious signs when she needs alone time. Ollie is always happy and ready for a cuddle. This cute duo have great house manners, they frequently go on sleepovers with our dedicated volunteers who report they are always on their best behaviour.

Story
Bongbong | 4 Years Old | Neutered Male Pomeranian | Ivory | 3.2 kg | 25 cm   Flight Info Bongbong will be arriving with an in-cabin flight volunteer. Due to current flight availability, we are prioritizing applications from adopters who can pick up in Toronto or Calgary. Bongbong was reported as a stray and entered a municipal shelter, where he was later rescued in January 2026. Now safe and waiting, he’s ready to find a loving home of his own   Personality & People Bongbong can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience, he warms up quickly. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes very affectionate and enjoys being touched and cuddled. He can be picked up easily and will even show his belly to those he trusts.   He is good with children under 13 and thrives on human companionship — he’s truly a people-oriented little dog   With Other Dogs Bongbong is not particularly interested in other dogs and prefers focusing on his humans. He may bark at smaller or more timid dogs to act “tough,” but he does not show aggressive behaviors such as biting. Around larger or more confident dogs, he tends to be submissive and keeps his distance.   With Cats He has not been tested with cats yet, but testing can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level He has a moderate energy level — he enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but settles down nicely afterward. He tends to be more playful and active when people are around.   Walks & Training Bongbong walks well on leash and enjoys his outings!   He is currently trained to use pee pads indoors and also goes potty outside.   Additional Notes • No food guarding toward people or dogs, though he is food-motivated • No separation anxiety observed • Calm and quiet in a crate during transport • May bark when excited to see people (typical Pomeranian trait), and could develop some demand barking in a home environment   Bongbong would do best in a home that can give him the love and attention he seeks, while continuing to provide gentle structure and guidance. He’s a sweet, affectionate companion who will truly shine once settled into his forever home   Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Pleae also visit our Facebook page or Instagram! ##2707773##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Eileen Age: About 4.5 Months Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian – Spitz Mix Color: Brown, Black and White Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was one of the “aces” at the city shelter. But even as one of the favorites, I still ended up on the euthanasia list. Time was running out. And then, just in time, someone saw me—They gave me a second chance I almost didn’t get. Maybe I was an “ace” back then, but what I really want now is to be your dog.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m Eileen, a confident little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I walk into life like I own it — curious, playful, and full of charm. If you’re looking for a dog with presence, you’ve found her! I’m bright, expressive, and full of confidence. I LOVE toys — seriously, they’re one of my favorite things in the world. Playtime with me is always fun and full of energy. I’m not shy, not quiet, and definitely not boring. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, affection, and a little bit of sass — a dog who will make you laugh, keep you engaged, and love you fully, I think we’re going to have a lot of fun together   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m the kind of dog who loves being close to people. Whether you’re someone I know or someone I’m meeting for the first time, I’ll happily walk up to you, lean in, and gently rub against you like I belong right there. I’m very easy to pet. You can even scoop me up with your arms under my belly, and I’ll stay relaxed in your arms, happy just being close to you. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet,so I may just need gentle introductions and a bit of time.  · With Dogs: When it comes to other dogs, I truly love making friends. Whether we’ve met before or not, I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I have a naturally friendly, open personality, and I enjoy sharing playful, happy moments with other dogs. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy going out for walks and exploring, and once I’ve had my time outside, I’m happy to rest quietly by your side. On walks, I’m still learning. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training to walk nicely, but I’m ready to grow and figure it out with you.   TRAINING & HABITS When it comes to food, I’m very relaxed with people — you don’t have to worry about me guarding anything. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a small growl, I just like having my space during mealtime. Sometimes, when I want something, I’ll let you know with a little bark — just my way of talking to you. In my kennel, I settle down calmly and rest without trouble, and I’m comfortable having my own quiet space. I’m also flexible with potty habits — I can use both indoor pads and go outside, depending on the routine we build together.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES On walks, I’m still learning. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training to walk nicely, but I’m ready to grow and figure it out with you. I’m still learning and growing. With consistent guidance and a little structure, I’ll become an incredibly well-balanced and confident companion.    EILEEN'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2701007##

I love playing with my toys and exploring the world around me—I’m a curious, happy pup who’s always interested in what you’re doing. I prefer dogs that are a similar size to me, where I feel more comfortable and can interact at an easy, balanced pace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. Since I’m still a young dog (around 1 year old), I can get playful zoomies and love to run around at times—but I settle down quickly and am easy to manage. I have a nice balance of fun, playful energy and calm, relaxed moments.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely and am continuing to improve with guidance. I form bonds easily and thrive on affection, making me a very loving and engaging companion. I would do best in a home that can give me both playtime and gentle guidance as I continue to grow. With the right balance of love, routine, and engagement, I’ll blossom into a loyal, well-mannered, and joyful young lady.   GOLDIE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708511##

QUICK FACTS Name: Roana Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian Spitz mix Color: White, Brown Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I came from a very difficult past where I wasn’t given the care I needed. When I was rescued, I was dealing with severe skin issues and was close to giving birth. Because of my condition, I had to be isolated for treatment, but I received lots of care, medical support, and love during that time. Thankfully, I’ve made a full recovery—my skin is now healthy, and I safely gave birth to my puppies. I’ve been such a devoted mom, and now almost all of my puppies have found their forever homes, with just one still waiting. Now it’s finally my turn. I’m healthy, strong, and ready to start my own new chapter with a loving family who will care for me the way I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a shy girl, but despite everything I’ve been through, I’m still very trusting of people. During my transport, I did so well and really enjoyed receiving pets and affection from the person driving me. When I arrived at the care facility, I quickly showed my happy side—running around the yard and enjoying myself. I can be a bit timid in new environments at first, but once I warm up, my sweet, affectionate, and playful personality really shines through. I’m improving every day and receiving lots of socialization, helping me grow into a more confident and happy girl.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I’m gentle and curious—I’ll softly take treats from your hand as I get to know you. It doesn’t take me long to warm up, and once I do, my sweet and affectionate side really starts to show. Even in new environments, like during my photoshoot, I did very well meeting new people and handling everything calmly. I have a very gentle nature and am comfortable being picked up, making me an easy and loving companion. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dog friends, but I prefer to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I enjoy observing my surroundings first and getting comfortable at my own pace. I’m very gentle with other dogs and tend to avoid conflicts, making me a calm and easygoing companion. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy getting outside to explore and enjoy some fresh air, and once I’ve had my fill of adventure, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax. I have a well-balanced mix of playful energy and calm, easygoing downtime.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m working on my leash walking skills every day and making steady progress. I have great manners around food and don’t guard it from people or other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who rarely barks, and I settle calmly in my kennel when it’s time to rest. I’m also doing well with my potty routine—I can use both indoor pee pads and go outside. Overall, I’m a low-maintenance, easygoing companion who fits nicely into a calm home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my past and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a gentle, low-maintenance girl with a calm and easygoing nature. I may be a little shy in new environments at first, but I’m a resilient pup who keeps a positive spirit and continues to grow more confident each day. I have lovely manners—I’m quiet, don’t guard my food, settle nicely in my kennel, and adapt well to both indoor and outdoor potty routines. I’m also steadily improving my leash skills and respond well to guidance. With the right care, patience, and a loving environment, I have so much potential to blossom into a confident, well-mannered, and deeply affectionate girl.   ROANA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708512##

QUICK FACTS Name: Bibigo Age: 1 year old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian spitz mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound where I was placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. It was a very uncertain time, but thankfully, I was rescued just in time and given a second chance at life. Now I’m safe, cared for, and ready to leave that past behind me. I’m looking forward to finding my forever family—one that will give me the love, security, and happy life I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super adorable and smart boy! Volunteers and staff notice right away how intelligent I am—I already know commands like sit, wait, and even how to give paw. I can focus well and really enjoy learning, especially when I get to connect with my person. I truly love people and crave affection. I tend to bond deeply with my main caregiver—I’m a bit of a “one-person dog,” and once I choose you, I’m all in. With my forever family, I’ll be incredibly loyal, loving, and devoted—a true companion for life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I’ll happily take treats from your hand and warm up quickly. I know I’m small and cute—people often want to reach out and grab me right away—but I feel much more comfortable when I’m given a moment to approach at my own pace (which is totally fair!). Once I feel safe, my sweet and social side really comes out. During my profile photoshoot, I did amazing—I followed volunteers and staff around for attention and treats, and even accepted pets from people I had just met. I’m also comfortable being picked up once I trust you, making me a loving and easy companion. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I like to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I prefer calm, well-mannered dogs and feel most comfortable with gentle interactions. Very high-energy or pushy dogs can overwhelm me, so I do best with respectful companions who match my pace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and getting some fresh air, but I’m just as happy to come inside and snuggle up afterward. I have a lovely balance of playful energy and calm, cozy companionship.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely and am continuing to improve with guidance. I have good manners around people and don’t guard my food, though I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I may bark occasionally when I’m looking for attention, but I settle down quickly afterward. I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer going potty outdoors. I’m also quite athletic—despite my small size, I can jump surprisingly high (over 1m!), so a secure environment is important. On the bright side, this also means I could really excel in activities like agility training! I’m very focused during training sessions and love learning. With the right support, structure, and a committed family, I know I’ll grow into a confident, well-mannered, and impressive young gentleman.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a smart, athletic, and highly trainable boy who thrives with structure and engagement. I have great focus during training and genuinely love to learn, especially when I’m guided with consistency and positive reinforcement. I’d do especially well in a home that can offer mental stimulation—activities like agility or advanced training would be a perfect fit for me. At the same time, I have a soft, affectionate side—I’m more than happy to be your lap cuddle buddy. At the end of the day, what I want most is to be loved and stay close by your side.   BIBIGO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708509##
