If you have an already approved application, it's possible you take your new friend home that day.** Hi, everyone! It’s silly boy Sawyer here! I’m a 10lb, 2-year-old Pomeranian mix. I’m eager to please you and I enjoy learning new tricks. I’ve already learned “sit”, “shake”, and “paw,” and I’m excited to learn more. I’m a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll ask you for all the belly rubs! I’m still working on my potty training, but I behave well in my crate and on walks. I love cuddling, car rides, and playing in the snow. I don’t know if I get along with cats yet, but I am friendly around dogs. I love kids so much that I tend to get really excited around them. I’m a good boy and don’t show any aggressive tendencies around food, toys, people, or other dogs, so I’m certain that I’ll fit right into your family! Fill out an application to meet me ASAP! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 2 years Adoption fee: $450

SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION! Grover is an 8-year-3-month old Pomeranian mix weighing 14 pounds. He is a special needs adoption due to multiple health issues. Deaf, does not react to sound. Blind-can see shadows, and some movement straight on. Elevated AIP & ALT liver values-possible indication of cushings disease (further testing recommended). Grover is an independent gentleman, doing his own thing. He does like to be near his person and will follow you around. He enjoys walks and quiet play, not much interest in toys. He's okay with other dogs. Does not seem to like cats. He did well with Tails and Toe Beans Groomer, she hand shy around his head (most likely due to blindness). Recommend children in home be over 12 years and respectful of his space. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
