Good with dogs, but doesn't like hyper dogs in his face (hated the foster puppy in the house) Crate trained and housebroken. Wouldn't trust with cats background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);'>This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment. They have also been given flea prevention. Adoption fee is $350.00. SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION! Grover is estimated to be 8-10 years old, Pomeranian mix weighing 16 pounds. Grover likes to be near his person and will follow you around. He enjoys walks and quiet play, spontaneously bouncing into play mode, not much interest in toys. He takes treats oh so gently! While in our care he's visited the veterinarian for his neuter, received a dental-1 tooth pulled and blood work has been done twice with nothing abnormal. He is partially blind and deaf but doesn't seem to mind! He is on Cosequin daily to help with his joints and that really seems to help.He's okay with other dogs. Does not seem to like cats. He did well with Tails and Toe Beans Groomer, hand shy around his head (most likely due to blindness). Recommend children in home be over 12 years and respectful of his space. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday -Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. Also, be sure to check us out on FaceBook!
