Story
Oakley, is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $600 and the transport fee is $165. If you would like to adopt Oakley, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. href="http://dhd.coffeecup.com/forms/bhsapp/">You can find a copy of that application here. Story
Meet Chucky..... That Face.... OMG Chucky and his sister were recently surrendered to the rescue from a puppy mill in Wisconsin. They were part of a " oops " litter. The mill was able to sell 1 of the pups to a private family, but these 2 were not sold. The pet store chains had no interest in this breed cross. We LOVE them.... Chucky is a 14 week old male Pomeranian / Shihtzu mix. He is considered low shedding. His body and fluff is typical Pomeranian, but that face is all Shihtzu. Underbite and all..... This guy loves to be held, is super confident, plays like crazy and will remain small. Perfect for travel. We estimate his full growth weight will be around 10 - 12 pounds. Chucky is a great pup and a great mix. He is Adorable for sure, so much fun.... Using a wee wee pad and the outdoors for potty training Being fostered in Butler NJ * Send an Email to Onepawatatimerescue@gmail.com and request an application ** That's the only way to get an application Adoption fee is $750 We adopt in the Tri State Area ONLY NY, NJ, PA, CT, DE, MA, RI, VT, NH

Story
Linus is one of the 180 animals recently removed from the horrific rescuer turned hoarder case in Brick, NJAfter all he's been through, he deserves to be loved, cuddled, spoiled, and pampered for the rest of his life... but just not him and definitely not what he wants or needs. For him, true love comes in the form of respect and space, not hugs and kisses. At first glance he is overall a friendly guy who dances and spins for attention, and seems ok with other dogs. He is a larger mostly pomeranian (mix?), about 17lbs full grown. This guy was in rough shape when first rescued- very matted, covered in fleas and itchy scabs, and urine scalded from living far too long crated in his own waste, but is looking and feeling much better now thanks to the care of the Ocean County Shelters' staff and volunteers, and his ready to leave his past behind. Linus has shown some resource guarding issue with his food and bones, and handling has to be on his terms (although he is already doing well with his basket muzzle training which is definitely a must for vet visits!) Linus is looking for an adult home that will respect his space and limitations and help him adjust to a real home. Not a lap dog, he's more like a cat who will come and rub against you for pets but let you know with a good swat when he's had enough (or in his case, some pinches with his luckily mostly toothless mouth!) Please submit an application if you would like to give Linus the life he deserves and has earned in his senior years. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 17 Age: 9yrs 9mths 3wks
