Story
Born in May 2015, these tiny brothers have spent their lives side by side, and now they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay together.
Jacob is a bundle of energy and joy! He loves nothing more than zooming around to show off his speed and engaging with his favorite toys. Initially shy around kids, Jacob quickly warms up once he realizes the endless opportunities for belly rubs and attention. He’s a true cuddle enthusiast who could happily soak up affection for hours. Jacob also loves the great outdoors and will eagerly join you for walks or car rides, ready to explore the world with you by his side.
Esau is the yin to Jacob’s yang, bringing a calm and reserved presence to the duo. While he may take some time to come out of his shell, once he does, he’s as loyal and loving as they come. Esau appreciates his personal space and thrives in a setting where he can feel safe and secure, with his own cozy corner to retreat to. His favorite pastimes include curling up for naps and lounging on his human’s lap - the ultimate companion for a relaxing day.
Jacob and Esau would do best in a calm, loving environment with a family that understands and appreciates their unique personalities. If you’re ready to welcome this charming duo into your heart and home, Jacob and Esau will reward you with unconditional love, laughter, and loyalty.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
