Story
Fluffernutter is a 5-year-old, 9-pound male pomeranian mix from Tijuana! Fluffernutter is a gentle, spunky, and happy pup. He has adjusted very well during his time in Queens. Fluffernutter enjoys snuggling up near his foster family, playing with squeaky toys, and sniffing around the neighborhood.
He is doing well understanding “come" and working on other obedience training. During his time with his foster family, he seems to be housetrained both outdoors and on weewee pads. Fluffernutter is great on a leash, trotting confidently alongside his walker without pulling. Fluffernutter is comfortable in a crate and can also be trusted with free roam of the house. He does not display any separation anxiety or destructiveness.
Fluffernutter is looking for a family that will enjoy his company during relaxed moments and enjoy playing with him during his bursts of energy. He appreciates downtime resting on his bed and active moments playing with toys or his foster siblings. Fluffernutter would do well as a solo dog, or in a home with other small dogs or children.
Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, bordetella, and Lepto. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Fluffernutter tested positive for ehrlichia and is being treated with doxycycline. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
