Story
Meet Archie! Archie is a 5-6 year old male Pomeranian who was rescued from being found left in a dumpster. Now safe at Husky House, Archie is looking for his loving forever home. Unfortunately, Archie has had a few seizures since arriving at Husky House, so he takes medication twice daily to help manage them. Poor Archie is very nervous around people, which is understandable given his history. He does not go out of his way to snap, but may growl or get snappy when people do not respect his boundaries (e.g. try to pick him up when he is uncomfortable). Archie does well with other small dogs. He has never been cat tested but would be expected to do well with cats as he is small and not overly playful. Interested in adopting Archie? Please visit www.huskyhouse.org today to fill out an application.January 7, 2025, 9:58 pm

Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a pomsky puppy who is looking for her loving forever home. She was saved from a puppy mill along with her two littermates, and like many puppy mill survivors, is fearful of people but shows no aggression despite her fear. Willow is great with other dogs and needs a home with at least one well-adjusted dog to help her gain confidence and learn “how to dog.” Willow is learning to walk on leash would do best in a home with a very secure, fenced-in yard that she cannot escape from (e.g. no small holes under the fence that could be crawled through). We would recommend keeping Willow on a long leash when outside to make sure that she can be safely brought back inside when playtime is over. Willow is crate trained. Apply to adopt Willow at www.huskyhouse.org.January 7, 2025, 9:35 pm

Story
Meet Noah: Your Future Furry Companion! If you are looking for a friend who will love and adore you, you found him! Noah, a sweet 6-7-year-old Pomchi, recently lost his mom and is now waiting for a new family to bring him home. This adorable boy is currently in a kennel at Rescue Ridge in Monmouth County, NJ, and he's hoping to find a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the king of his castle. Noah loves to snuggle and will happily keep you company. He's good with other dogs but prefers to be the only pet. He doesn't get along with cats and hasn't lived with children, so a child-free home is ideal. A nice fenced-in yard would be a real treat!  This little guy walks wonderfully on a leash and is house-trained, though he doesn't like crates. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Noah could be your perfect match! Interested in adopting Noah? Fill out an application at rescueridge.com and text 732-546-8805 to set up a meet and greet. Please note that only those who are a good fit will be contacted. Let's give Noah the loving home he deserves! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 No phone calls will be answered. Story
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. She was miraculously given a new life thanks to the rescue. That same year, after a few months of foster period, Sunny found a forever home, which was another miracle we thought of back then. Five years later, however, the rescue team got an unknown phone call requesting to change Sunny's ownership. Long story short, her family decided to give up on her after years, sent her to a pet shop, and paid them, all this without discussing it with the rescue team. This pet shop basically receives pets from owners and in turn, sells them out, and to do so with Sunny, they needed to have Sunny's ownership switched from the rescue team to the pet shop so they contacted the rescue team, and that’s how the rescue team learned Sunny's situation. Eventually, Sunny was able to safely return to her original rescue team, which is another miracle in her story. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Recently, she has been moved to her foster home with two other dogs. Sunny is eagerly waiting for her own home now! • Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets. • Affinity with - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size - Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase kittens, but she stops when told. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults, especially elders including men / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families! • Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee-pads and outdoors. • Walking Manners: very good • Separation Anxiety: None • Bathing/Brushing: very good • Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something. • Car Rides: very good • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain when walking or running. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!
