MEET ZIGGY! Meet Ziggy the 8 year old Pomeranian mix! He was originally surrendered to ACCT Philly due to his family relocating. This poor guy was suffering from severe skin issues, fur-loss, and double ear infections. Ziggy has caught up on vet care and is now looking and feeling like a whole new dog! With some TLC and vet care his skin has cleared up, his fur is growing back, and his ears are fixed up. Ziggy is currently living with 2 large dogs in his foster home and he does great with them, but he still prefers attention from humans. He’s been non-reactive towards cats but isn't currently living with any. His previous owner shared that he would sometimes bully other small dogs in the home and after getting to know his boisterous personality, we’re not surprised. It’s Ziggy’s world after all and we’re just living in it! Ziggy definitely rocks that "main character energy" like no other. He has his signature pom pom dance move where he claps his paws together and spins! He also demands belly rubs multiple times a day. He’s the cutest little skunk doppelgänger and an affectionate little nugget. He’s still working on his table manners when food is around and house training. I am caring for my mother and my children have gotten older which leaves little to no time for me to attend to baby unfortunately. We prefer adopters to be within 1 hour drive of Delaware 19703 area. Meet Jarvis. Jarvis was adopted in 2015 to a family that said they could & would give him a forever home. Things changed, and they could no longer take care of Jarvis, and Jarvis ended back into rescue. Even though he seems to be having a blast, we need to find him a home that will provide him a loving forever home! Jarvis is about 16 pounds which is small to most people but he’s in a foster home with mostly chihuahuas not weighing more than 10 pounds. His foster mom describes him as a big dog in a small dogs body. Jarvis is a good boy that has lots of energy so it’s important to know he will need walks, running and playing with another dog or fetch with his human. Jarvis has met many dogs in foster care and has done super well. Jarvis does not do well meeting new people and is very protective of his home so we are looking for an adopter that can handle this and work with Jarvis so he learns he doesn’t need to be the protector, his human will protect him instead.
