Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB: 10/01/2015 Requires another dog in home: Yes, needs another confident dog Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes, dog friendly dogs Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Unknown Weight: 13 pounds Requires a fenced yard:  Yes, needs a fence  Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello, my name is Jessie and I am the perfect combination of sweet and gentle. I am a timid and shy girl who is making tremendous progress living in a home with a loving family. I have learned so many things – the most important is to trust my people. My people have been very gentle and going slow with me and I have made a lot of progress. She gives me little massages on my head and back – it is so relaxing for me and my people. I have the softest coat and I think you will agree! I am a shy little girl, so having a confident dog in my forever home is required. Another dog will be helpful to show me the ropes, help me get on a routine and help me feel comfortable in my surroundings. Foster mom tells me with a little time and a lotta love, I will come out of my shell and be a great friend to my people. A lot of commotion worry me a bit, so I spend time in my comfy bed watching the activity in the house. Hopefully you have lots of comfy beds for me! Potty training is going great, my foster mom carries me outside and I am good about doing my business on a routine. While I will go potty on a leash, I don't know how to go for walks yet so will need a fence. Maybe there is another dog in the house to show me how to walk on a leash? Hopefully! Anyway, I am ready for my forever. My forever family, my forever home and my forever best friend that will love me unconditionally, not give up on me! I promise I’m worth it and I will fill that hole that you possibly never even knew was there! Love, Jessie *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Want to meet me? Come to the 6th Annual St. Louis Park Art Fair at ROC (3700 Monterey Dr, St Louis Park, MN 55416 ) for an Adoption Event on Saturday 9/7 12:00 pm-2:30 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs.   Hi, I’m Tabitha, a 5-year-old Pomeranian weighing in at a petite 12 pounds. I’m not just cute—I’m full of personality and charm! People say I’m the sweetest dog ever, and I think they’re right. I’m playful, curious, and I absolutely love attention. When I look into your eyes, it’s with pure trust and love. I’m all about tummy rubs, and my fluffy coat is easy to take care of with just a weekly brushing. I love to chase after balls, though I’m still figuring out how to bring them back to you. I get along great with all the other dogs in my foster home, and I’d really thrive in a home with another doggy friend to learn from. Having a confident and social dog in my forever home to help me learn to trust and get on a routine, but it isn't required.  When we go for walks, I don’t pull, and I love stopping to smell the roses (or whatever else catches my nose). I’m also eager to meet new people. One of my favorite things to do is run zoomies in the backyard; my foster family says it’s the cutest thing ever! I’m doing great with potty training and crate training. I enjoy playing with stuffed animals, and I get a bully stick to chew on for about 10 minutes a day—it’s a real treat! I’m very smart and know commands like “Come,” “Kennel,” “Outside,” and “Go Potty.” I’m super easygoing and happy. I love being close to my humans, whether I’m watching you cook (not begging, just curious) or following you around the house. I greet my neighbors politely when we’re outside, and I usually sleep in a bed in the living room so I can be near you. I might take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’m all in. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who’s full of joy, I’m the girl for you! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared.  Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses .   Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.   Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs.   Hi, I’m Suzi Homemaker, a 3-year-old Pomeranian with a heart full of love and a whole lot of fluff! I weigh about 15 pounds, but my gorgeous double coat makes me look a bit bigger—like a little black bear! When you pet me, your fingers will disappear into my silky fur, which feels like therapy for both of us. I’m a sweet, playful, and gentle girl who loves hanging out with the other dogs in my foster home. We play by gently grabbing each other’s tails and legs, and when I’m outside, I really shine! I love to run the perimeter of the yard at full speed—you should see how fast I am! My people call them epic zoomies – hee hee! But don’t worry, I’m just as happy sitting next to you on the couch, soaking up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. I'm still learning to trust humans, so meeting new people can make me a bit shy. But once I warm up to you, I'm all about those cuddles and scratches. Oh, and chin and back scratches? Count me in! I’m doing great with potty training and sleep quietly in my kennel all night long. I’ve got great manners on a leash too—no tugging or stopping at every tree for me! I’ll walk right by your side, keeping up with you. I’m also a good eater and enjoy small dog treats after going outside. You won’t hear much barking from me unless there’s a good reason, and even then, a simple “Suzi stop” is all it takes for me to quiet down. I have a calm and even temperament, so while I’ve got plenty of energy for play, I’m also content to take it easy. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, but I don’t need to have another dog in my forever home—though I wouldn’t mind the company! My shiny coat, beautiful white markings, and sweet personality make me a real catch. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s as happy to run as she is to relax, I’m your girl! This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses.  Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.  Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Did I catch your eye? Learn more about me by reading my profile below; I just might be your new best friend! Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule. Age: Approximately 5-6 years old Weight: 18 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown  Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Almost there! Crate trained: No   Archie is a puppy at heart. He loves to run around and play with people, dogs, or toys, but he is also happy cuddling up in the couch with his person. He tends to find whoever is his favorite person in the room and be their shadow. If he picks you, you will most definitely never do anything alone again! He seems to do well with pottying outside if you pay close attention to his signals, but he has sporadic accidents in his current home. He will let you know if he ever sees someone coming in the house or walking by outside, so shared walls may not be the best for this little guy! He loves being outside and does well on a leash, but he loves the freedom to explore the fenced in yard at his current home. He does well with the 3 year old girl in the home, but does not like when kids quickly approach him, so he would do best in a home with kids who understand dog boundaries. He knows basic commands, such as sit, stay, lie down, and he is very food motivated! Archie is such a sweet, affectionate and goofy guy, and wants to find the person he will love on for the rest of his life! Story
I WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT 9/8 at 10am.  Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm Derby is very playful and plays with anything he finds. He loves finding branches out in the yard, dragging them around and then nibbling on them. He loves rough housing with the Standard Poodles who is remarkably gentle with him. He’s prone to chasing the cats but now stops when told no. In the house he plays with the small stuffed animals a lot. Derby sleeps nicely in his crate with no fussing. We are working on potty training, but hes still a puppy.   He’s a funny little guy who loves to snuggle when he’s tired. He gives endless kisses. He walks nicely on a leash. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2147449##
