IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, pleas r visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Fairbanks! Fairbanks is a Pomsky (Pomeranian/husky) who is 8 years old and 25 pounds. Fairbanks is a very sweet girl but is sadly losing her home as her owners are moving. She has been raised by a wonderful family since she was a baby puppy. She is very sweet and loving. Fairbanks is house trained, and crate trained. Even at age 8, she very much enjoys running in the yard and will require a home that can give her a fenced yard to run and play in. She gets along with other dogs her size or bigger but doesn't engage in much play time. This sweet girl has not loved with children but enjoys meeting people of all ages so we feel she would be fine in a home with children who are old enough to be respectful of a dogs space. Fairbanks is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $300.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Story
Hi there! I’m Coco, a healthy 3-year-old male Pomeranian/chihuahua mix, weighing in at a petite 7.6 lbs. I’m super friendly and love hanging out with people—especially if you’ve got a soft plush toy or a cozy blanket nearby. Unfortunately, I was given up recently by my family, because my owner could no longer care for me – she had become ill and was too frail/immobile. I had a pretty big family before, with 5 kids around, and I got along just fine with them. I’m cool with cats, too, and other dogs are just fine with me. I also have one tiny pet peeve: I don’t like it when people touch my food while I’m eating, but really, who does? I love to snuggle. I'm okay in a crate, but get a bit vocal if I can't see my people. I really just want to be with my people. I'm kind of high energy, but if you're sleeping or watching tv, I'm happy to snuggle.  I get a little nervous about baths and grooming, but I warm up pretty quickly, and I’m actually a smart little guy, so I can be very obedient once I settle in. I’m playful and affectionate, too. If you love small dogs, you might also want to meet my buddy, Bear. We’re like two peas in a pod and could be a great team for your home! ##2286679##

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. She was miraculously given a new life thanks to the rescue. That same year, after a few months of foster period, Sunny found a forever home, which was another miracle we thought of back then. Five years later, however, the rescue team got an unknown phone call requesting to change Sunny's ownership. Long story short, her family decided to give up on her after years, sent her to a pet shop, and paid them, all this without discussing it with the rescue team. This pet shop basically receives pets from owners and in turn, sells them out, and to do so with Sunny, they needed to have Sunny's ownership switched from the rescue team to the pet shop so they contacted the rescue team, and that’s how the rescue team learned Sunny's situation. Eventually, Sunny was able to safely return to her original rescue team, which is another miracle in her story. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Recently, she has been moved to her foster home with two other dogs. Sunny is eagerly waiting for her own home now! • Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets. • Affinity with - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size - Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase kittens, but she stops when told. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults, especially elders including men / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families! • Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee-pads and outdoors. • Walking Manners: very good • Separation Anxiety: None • Bathing/Brushing: very good • Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Car Rides: very good • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies • Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain when walking or running. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
Meet Rosebud, affectionately called Rosie-she is the whole package. She is adorable, playful, good with other dogs, ignores cats (we have not seen her with kids), housebroken with regular trips outside, and good in a kennel-what else could you possibly want? PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application) We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
