Story
It is with a sad heart that I have to put my 13 year old Pomeranian up for adoption. His name is Louie. I’ve struggled with this for a long time. I must admit, I did not give Louie the time and attention he needed over the years due to my demanding career, but he was definitely loved and is spoiled rotten. Louie can be a handful. At 13 he is still pretty active. He likes to run around the backyard, go on short walks and occasionally snuggle. He loves his me time. His interactions with other dogs and humans varies. When I am around, he can be very aggressive. But, when I am not around, I am told he is very sweet. He does have arthritis. He takes Rimadyl as needed and OTC supplements that help when he appears to be limping. Louie was not officially house trained. He does know how to use on a pad when indoors and is trained to sleep in a crate. He will try to hold his urine/poop for as long as possible but sometimes can’t. He does jump on furniture and like to sleep in the bed.

Story
Stevie, named after Stevie Wonder, is a super snuggly, 8-year-old cuddle bug. He is a blind chipom. He is super smart and if you did not know he was blind you might not believe it! He finds his way around his foster home easily, and always seems to know if you are heading to the sofa and beats you there! His absolute favorite thing in the world is snuggling. He plays with the other smaller foster puppy, but his main goal in life is to be the absolute best cuddlebug! Because he is blind he prefers smaller or calmer dogs. Story
My name is Max or Max a million, the pom mix! I am 8 years old, sweet as pie and always on the move. I love play groups with other dogs. I am adorable. I am a little chubby but if you must a diet would get me to a sleek and handsome boy. I do love my food.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved.
