He's a sweet little guy that would do well with another smaller dog in the home. He is a bit shy with people and other dogs help bring out his confidence. My original home would hit me and this left some scars on my heart. My last home said that I was loving and affectionate with them but also protective. Unfortunately, I just didn’t care for their cats and kids. I do get along with dogs. I can be pretty active and playful and enjoy a nice game of fetch. I also sit and give paw. Can you help me heal emotionnally, I promise to love you with all my heart!

Dino here.As you can see from my pictures, I am an adorable little guy. They tell me I am an `adult`, maybe 3-5 yrs old but my philosophy is that age is just a number and I am a happy, go lucky little guy with puppy like energy.I love everyone I meet and always want to be a part of the action. If the hooman wants to pick me up or snuggle I will let them but really, I want to be on the go. There are 3 big dogs in my foster home, and I love to run and play and wrestle with them. I really hope my furever home has at least one playful dog.I have been told that going to the bathroom in the house is frowned upon and am working to remember to ask to go outside when nature calls. I am also trying to concentrate on learning some commands though it is hard with so much action to pay attention to but I`ll continue to practice. If I have to go in that thing, you call a crate, I will protest for a minute but settle down and fall sleep pretty quickly. To be honest I would much rather sleep under the dining room table, but I get it, sleeping in that thing is one of the rules of the house.The nice people taking care of me say I have something called Epilepsy. I have had some seizures in the past but now those are controlled with proper medication. Definitely doesn`t slow me down at all.If you are looking for a cute, little guy with a zest for life, I would love to meet you.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Hi, Im what they called a Pomsky teddy bear mix but the truth is, with backyard breeders, you never really know. What I do know is that Im 100% adorable and finally safe with The Charlie Project Dog Rescue after being rescued from a backyard breeding situation. I didnt have the best start to life, but Im learning what it means to be loved and cared for. I can be a little shy at first as I adjust to all these new experiences, but once I feel safe, my playful and affectionate side starts to come out. Im still a puppy, so Im working on all the basicsespecially potty training. Ill need a family that is patient, consistent, and ready to help me learn and grow. A home that understands rescue dogs and is willing to give me time to decompress will be the best fit. I come with my current DHPP vaccines (including boosters provided by the rescue), bordetella vaccine, microchip, deworming, and a current health certificate. My $800 adoption fee includes my spay/neuter at one of the rescues partner veterinarians. If you choose to use your own vet, a $100 reimbursement will be provided upon proof of spay/neuter. This is required as part of the adoption contract. If you rent or live in a condo, please ensure your landlord or association has approved a dog prior to applying. If you currently have a dog at home, please email up-to-date vet records and proof of preventatives to thecharlieprojectdogrescue@gmail.com before submitting your application.
