Story
Hoho is a 11 year old Pomeranian. He is about 10 pounds. We love Hoho, but we need to find him another home because he does not get along with our other dog and he sometimes bites the other dog. Hoho needs a lot of attention and gets jealous of other dogs. He does have food aggression, but he no longer has teeth as they were really bad and removed. Perfectly healthy otherwise. He has all his shots including rabies. Hoho can be a good dog in the right situation and we don’t want to put him down. We can’t let him continue to bite our other dog. We want him to have a good senior life and he could easily live another 5-9 years.

Meet Tina Turner. Tina came from a hoarder breeder situation.  Tina got her name for her wild hair. Tina came to ARF with her puppies. Due to unforeseen medical issues her pups did not survive. Tina has been in foster care long enough to learn love and is gaining trust everyday. Tina is not your normal dog yet. She is learning. Learning the leash. Learning to trust. Tina will need a quiet, loving, slow moving environment to flourish. ARF requests no children.  And Tina will require another dog in the home to help her continue to learn and trust. Tina is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, paper trained, and spayed.  This dog's new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this dog fill out an   Online Application  today! Story
Introducing DAISY, a 5-6 month old, Pomeranian/Cockapoo mix weighing currently 15 pounds. Daisy is an exuberant puppy who is a spunky and very sweet girl. She loves people of all ages and does great with dogs of all sizes; she is currently in a foster home with a couple smaller dogs as well as two bully mixes. Daisy has a lot of puppy energy! She loves to play with several of the other dogs who will “rough house” with her. Her other hobbies include  exploring the backyard and chewing her bones and toys.  Sweet Daisy is learning how to walk on leash and making good progress. Because she’s really treat motivated Daisy has been starting to work on some basic commands with her foster family. When her foster mom leaves the home Daisy is gated in the kitchen with the other dogs and does very well; she does not currently require crating. At night Daisy sleeps on her foster mom’s bed and sleeps through the night. She is not quite housebroken but she is getting better every day. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: fenced yard, at least one other similar sized or larger dog in the home to play with Daisy, and enrollment in puppy/obedience training classes with certified dog trainer. This puppy has been examined multiple times by licensed veterinarians, been provided age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.
