Meet Kenobi – the wise little gentleman your couch has been waiting for. At approximately 8 years old, Kenobi is the perfect mix of sweet, spunky, calm, and a little bit quirky in the most lovable way. This charming Chihuahua mix may be entering his “distinguished gentleman” era, but don’t let the age fool you — he still has plenty of love (and opinions about treats) to share. Kenobi came into rescue as a very neglected stray and is believed to have possibly been hit by a car. When he arrived, he had a large wound on his back that needed immediate veterinary care. Thanks to the quick action of the team at Needy Paws and lots of TLC, he has healed beautifully and is now ready for the next chapter of his life: a cozy forever home. Kenobi is partially blind, which just means he prefers a calmer lifestyle. Fast-moving animals and kids can make him a little nervous, so he would do best as an only pet or with another mellow companion — a fellow laid-back small dog or a quiet cat who also appreciates the fine art of relaxing. What Kenobi truly loves is the simple life: • Warm couch snuggles • Delicious treats (he considers himself a connoisseur) • Gentle neck rubs • Being close to his favorite human He’s basically your own tiny retired gentleman who would happily supervise movie nights, nap schedules, and snack time. But be careful on the snacks, he is very overweight, so it’s best if food and treats are monitored.  He will need someone to help guide him on his weight loss journey towards that summer bod. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will trade you endless affection for a cozy spot on the couch, Kenobi might just be your perfect match. This sweet old soul has been through a lot, and now he’s ready to spend his golden years exactly where he belongs — in a loving  home. Kenobi’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Lille is a beautiful 8-year-old girl with a gentle, dainty nature. She’s looking for a calm, loving home—ideally with a couple and no children—where she can truly relax and be cherished. Lilly needs a securely fenced yard so she can safely go outside and explore at her own pace. In the evenings, she’s more than happy to curl up on your lap and enjoy quiet companionship. She does well in her crate or on her doggy bed and loves taking long, cozy naps. Just be warned—Lilly is a devoted little shadow and will happily follow you wherever you go! She takes a bit of time getting comfortable using the steps to go outside, but once she understands the routine, she has no trouble heading out to do her business. Lilly gets along well with other dogs, though her feelings about cats are unknown. She’s a very quiet girl and rarely barks, but if she can’t find you during the day and misses you, she may let out a few barks to call you back. Lilly also loves being pampered—she enjoys baths, blow-drying, and being brushed. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will fill your home with quiet love, Lilly may be the perfect match.
