Story
Ozzy is basically a golden retriever trapped in a tiny fluffy body. This happy little guy is playful, easygoing, curious, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog who makes life feel a little brighter just by being around. With his permanent smile and cheerful personality, Ozzy approaches the world with excitement and joy.
He loves being part of the action, whether that means exploring the yard, following you from room to room, playing with toys, or curling up nearby after a busy day. Ozzy gets genuinely excited about life’s simple things, and his happiness is completely contagious.
Ozzy has a sweet, affectionate nature and bonds quickly with the people around him. He’s the type of companion who just wants to be included — your tiny sidekick for errands, couch time, walks, and everything in between.

Ozzy is a 10-month-old Pomeranian rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Ozzy is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
