Story
Looks like: Papillon mix Female, 11 years old (estimated), 17 pounds Sprinkles is a true companion. She's happiest when she gets to be by your side. This sweet and gentle pup can take a moment to warm up, but when she does, she wants nothing more than to pepper you with kisses and love. This little ball of love just wants to be your furever friend. This sweet girl is currently overweight and has trouble getting around, both due to her size and possible arthritis. She is currently being evaluated to try and help her get her mobility back. Though she struggles with a lot of movement, she does sometimes get some short bursts of energy. Sprinkles is a very people-friendly dog. Before placing her in a home with children, we'd like to be sure all interactions were monitored and young kids were respectful. Sprinkles may do well as the only apple of your eye, but she may also do well with another mellow pup, especially as Sprinkles does not like to be left home alone. Sprinkles came to us from Sacramento County Animal Shelter so that we could help with her medical needs.

Rescued from the shelter, Beef Stew has quickly learned the joys of a cozy home life, spending his days moving from one comfy nap spot to another. While he's still getting the hang of house training, he's made amazing progress with a consistent routine and a little patience. He enjoys his morning and evening potty breaks, with short walks in between, where he takes in all the sights and sounds of the world around him. A leisurely guy at heart, Beef Stew is more about enjoying the journey than rushing to the destination.   Despite his initial shyness, Beef Stew has blossomed into a loving companion who adores being near his people. He'll follow you from room to room, quietly keeping you company without being demanding. Whether you're working from home or relaxing on the couch, you can count on him to be by your side—especially when it's time for belly rubs. In the evenings, he gets bursts of playful energy, chasing his tail or joyfully rolling onto his back like a fish out of water. He’s also a big fan of chewing on toys, especially if there’s a squeaker involved!   Beef Stew is incredibly dog-social, having previously lived with several canine friends, though he prefers the company of humans above all. He's polite and curious around other dogs and shows a mild interest in cats, but he'd much rather be soaking up affection from people. With his quiet and gentle nature, Beef Stew would make an ideal companion for a laid-back household willing to continue his training and provide the love he craves. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and the perfect blend of relaxed and playful. Whether you're looking for a snuggle buddy or a walking companion, Beef Stew is ready to settle in and be your loyal friend for years to come!   Beef Stew is an option for a novice or an experienced home. He is an option for a home that has children over the age of 5.January 29, 2025, 4:26 pm
