This little pocket pup is Dante! He is a 6 year old, 7lb red Pomeranian that is the cutest thing ever! Dante needs a very specific home so please read his bio thoroughly before inquiring. We are looking for a home for him where he is the only dog or he can be in a home with another calm, sweet dog. He does not do well in chaos or a large pack. We are also looking for prior Pomeranian owners that know the breed well. Dante would do best in a home with owners that work from home or are not gone long hours during the day. Most importantly, people inquiring need to know that Dante is a dog that needs a home with a yard because he is a dog that cannot go on walks. He absolutely will not walk on leash and trust us when we say we worked with dog walkers and they all the same thing...he just needs to go into a home where the owners have a yard for him to go potty and do not care if they have a dog that can go on walks or not. He is also a little temperamental about his collar being adjusted/pulled etc so potential adopted need to be aware of that and know they will have to go really slow in that area. Dante is VERY loving once he feels safe and will want to be near you, so a home that allows pets on the furniture is a must and he will require a dog ramp/dog stairs to the furniture. Dante is a good eater and a good watch dog. He does bark when someone comes to/through the door, but quiets down quickly. An adult only home is a must for this petite little guy as he is very tiny and fragile. We love this little guy and you will too! Dante is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a full dental done recently. We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Tinsel is a spunky, cute, friendly Pomeranian mix. Although he is calm, you wouldn’t necessarily guess he was a senior. Tinsel is a wonderful companion pup and loves to be with his people. He gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home, enjoys walks, sunbathing in the backyard, and is a great sleeper! Our vet noticed Tinsel has an enlarged heart, so he was put on Vetmedin. This is a medication he should stay on for life. He will have his teeth cleaned in the new year and will be all ready for his forever home. We are so glad to have sweet Tinsel under our wing and look forward to finding him his forever family.

COH Lucky is a friendly 10 year old male Pomeranian Mix who was surrendered by his owner who is facing homelessness, along with his siblings, Pappa, Casey, and Coco. Lucky is looking for a warm bed and someone to give him love and attention. Lucky loves to be held and cuddled. He’s great with kids and dogs and is looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years. Lucky is ready to find his forever family to spend the rest of his years with! We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Leo the Lion is a loveable 2 year old Pomeranian mix. He was surrendered by his former owners and was fortunate enough to find his way on to The Rescue Train. He is a sweet, funny dog that likes to cuddle, going on long walks and carrying around his favorite Nylabone. Although Leo is hearing impaired, he is very smart. He was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and his seizures are being controlled with phenobarbital. His foster took lessons with a trainer that specializes in deaf dogs so an adopter experienced with deaf/special needs dogs is a plus. He walks well on leash and is very good at maintaining eye contact so he knows when to safely cross the street. He doesn't bark very often, but he does bark very loudly so an apartment would not suit him. He interacts well with other dogs but doesn't necessarily initiate play and sometimes just likes to just watch from the sidelines.
