HI! buttermilk here nice to meet you! I am a prize! 4-5 years old, 25 lbs and just an absolute delight I have a wonky front leg that rescue will be consulting with orthopedic surgeons about once I am cleared from pneumonia ( I left the shelter sick but I am feeling so much better now). as you can see from video, I get around just fine with 3 legs and my 1 wonky one and I don't seem to be in any pain. I am great with other dogs but can also fly solo. I am gentle and kind and a friend to all! I can't wait to met you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org

I currently weigh around 25 lbs but I should probably weigh at least 15 lbs. I am great with dogs, house broken, crate trained, dog door trained, and just a really really nice lady! She is playful and loves learning new things. Hello leon is a sweet boy that was no longer wanted at his house Couse they had a baby and 2 other kids and was to much but h was in bad condition full of flees under weight and no vaccines and no fur in his legs :( I took him right away and took him to the vet and stated treatment and he’s doing great no more flees or parasites vaccines up to date and his fur is growing back ! He’s perfect weight 6 pounds and he’s fully potty trained ! He’s so smart only took me a week to transition from pre pads to going outside ! He’s very active loves to play and attention . He’s afraid of new people and takes a bit to warm up but when he does all he wants is luv! He’s not aggressive but he does bark and he luvs walks but need to be trained to be calm seeing other dogs and people ! I can’t keep him since I travel a lot and just lost my 17 old dog so I want to find him a great home he would love a yard and he likes kids I saw him play at his old house
