I am a 9yr old chihuahua/Pomeranian currently on my weight loss journey. I am blind but use my other senses to help me get around, once I adjust to new surroundings. Please go slow and let me smell you before picking me up. I would do best with a routine and consistency. I get along with people and dogs. I need help getting up and down off furniture, so please do not leave me unattended or I will fall. Although I love food please keep me on track of loosing weight for my health. Please do not free feed me, give me table food, or large portions. My foster mom says I love bath time but not toys. I am potty pad trained, and I will whine/bark if I need to go potty but if my request is ignored I may have a potty accident so please be patient with me.

Yeti was brought home as a puppy over 10 years ago. She instantly bonded with me, and we've shared countless adventures, from running and hiking to being a loyal family companion. Despite a difficult divorce three years ago, Yeti remained with my ex-wife, who recently gave me an ultimatum to adopt Yeti or she would go to a shelter. Knowing Yeti as my little buddy, I couldn't let her end up in a shelter, so I took her in, despite already having two other dogs. Yeti is over 10 years old and, aside from age-related sensitivities in her GI system, she is in good health. She thrives on high-quality food (I feed her Ollie) and needs a diet low in fatty foods to avoid GI issues. She has been to the vet recently and is well taken care of. Yeti is a sweet dog who initially puts on a tough veneer but warms up quickly to those who show her kindness. She deserves a loving home where she can peacefully live out her golden years.
