Sweet Pea is an older dog whose owner can no longer care for her. She was rescued from a nearby shelter about 15 years ago. She is a very sweet girl and still has some pep in her. She sometimes has an accident but will usually bark to tell you when she needs to go. She is partially blind in her left eye. She is currently living in an apartment/home. The owner is sad to let her go but is happy she will have a loving and caring home.

Hello leon is a sweet boy that was no longer wanted at his house Couse they had a baby and 2 other kids and was to much but h was in bad condition full of flees under weight and no vaccines and no fur in his legs :( I took him right away and took him to the vet and stated treatment and he’s doing great no more flees or parasites vaccines up to date and his fur is growing back ! He’s perfect weight 6 pounds and he’s fully potty trained ! He’s so smart only took me a week to transition from pre pads to going outside ! He’s very active loves to play and attention . He’s afraid of new people and takes a bit to warm up but when he does all he wants is luv! He’s not aggressive but he does bark and he luvs walks but need to be trained to be calm seeing other dogs and people ! I can’t keep him since I travel a lot and just lost my 17 old dog so I want to find him a great home he would love a yard and he likes kids I saw him play at his old house

Story

Symba came to me about two years ago. He is a rescue dog. Unfortunately, relocating and my busy schedule does not allow me to provide him with the love, care, attention, and exercise he deserves. Despite his abuse, he is a loving, sweet, gentle, playful, caring dog. He appreciates human and canine company and can be left alone for a few hours, but not more than 5 hours. He is good with other dogs his size or smaller, but he gets intimidated by bigger dogs. He would greatly benefit from a patio and backyard to release his energy and get his exercise. He also enjoys daily walks, and weekend hikes. Fireworks scare him, but cuddles and a dark, quiet space help alleviate his trauma. I want what's best for Symba and hope he finds a safe, loving, spacious home that will appreciate his daily smile. He is low-maintenance and super sweet.
