Rescued from the shelter, Beef Stew has quickly learned the joys of a cozy home life, spending his days moving from one comfy nap spot to another. While he's still getting the hang of house training, he's made amazing progress with a consistent routine and a little patience. He enjoys his morning and evening potty breaks, with short walks in between, where he takes in all the sights and sounds of the world around him. A leisurely guy at heart, Beef Stew is more about enjoying the journey than rushing to the destination. Despite his initial shyness, Beef Stew has blossomed into a loving companion who adores being near his people. He'll follow you from room to room, quietly keeping you company without being demanding. Whether you're working from home or relaxing on the couch, you can count on him to be by your side—especially when it's time for belly rubs. In the evenings, he gets bursts of playful energy, chasing his tail or joyfully rolling onto his back like a fish out of water. He’s also a big fan of chewing on toys, especially if there’s a squeaker involved! Beef Stew is incredibly dog-social, having previously lived with several canine friends, though he prefers the company of humans above all. He's polite and curious around other dogs and shows a mild interest in cats, but he'd much rather be soaking up affection from people. With his quiet and gentle nature, Beef Stew would make an ideal companion for a laid-back household willing to continue his training and provide the love he craves. He’s food-motivated, eager to please, and the perfect blend of relaxed and playful.
