Meet Pureum! He's a vey handsome sweet guy! He is a 2 year old that was rescued from a breeding farm before heading to a dog meat farm in South Korea. We have partners we work with there that pull these dogs from the worst horrors imaginable. Many of these dogs start off in horrific puppy mill type facilities on tiny rabbit cage size wire crates in complete filth. If they are not sold at 6 or 8 weeks then they either stay for a couple years to be used to breed more and then are sold off to the meat trade, or they are sold off right away. Jindo's and Tosa's are the most common meat type dogs, and are very commonly bred specifically for their meat and the meat farms also act as breeding farms until they reach a good age and weight. South Korea is one of the only countries that actually farms dogs for their meat. Many restaurants will serve a dish called " bosintang ", which stands for "dog meat soup". It's a popular dish in South Korea, and is said to act as an aphrodisiac for men. Little dogs are used for elixirs and potions. The younger generation is mostly against this practice and many choose to not eat them, and we can only hope in time with education and generations of change that an end will come to this horrific trade. Pureum and some of his friends have been flown here for a chance at a future and a real life. These are miracle dogs that they are alive today. Tinsel is a spunky, cute, friendly Pomeranian mix. Although he is calm, you wouldn’t necessarily guess he was a senior. Tinsel is a wonderful companion pup and loves to be with his people. He gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home, enjoys walks, sunbathing in the backyard, and is a great sleeper! Our vet noticed Tinsel has an enlarged heart, so he was put on Vetmedin. This is a medication he should stay on for life. He will have his teeth cleaned in the new year and will be all ready for his forever home. We are so glad to have sweet Tinsel under our wing and look forward to finding him his forever family.

Daisy is the sweetest cuddle bug. She is a 5 year old Pomeranian mix with the cutest curly floof of a tail. Her snow white fur is as soft as a cloud and she looks like an adorable little arctic fox! Daisy literally jumps for joy when she sees us each morning, like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. But after that burst of morning energy, Daisy’s favorite place is on a lap. She is in heaven when she’s in your arms getting love and attention, and she shows her love with smiles and kisses in return. Daisy has had zero accidents in the house since coming to her foster home. She quickly understood the assignment of using the potty in the backyard. She is also completely calm and docile around the Foster’s two cats! She was a little bit nervous around their bigger dog, doing a little warning growl for the first couple of days. But she quickly came around and now she naps all nestled in his fur. Daisy occasionally still “resource guards” our laps but she has learned to rein that in with a simple calm “no” which she definitely understands. Because of her little pirate eye which is non-functioning, Daisy does sometimes bump into both people and things as she prances around the house, but that doesn’t seem to slow her down! She enjoys going on walks and doesn’t pull at all - but she is still getting the hang of walking in a straight line. She has no aggression when seeing other dogs on the street. This sweet girl also does great overnight in her crate, even if she might prefer your bed! To sum up Daisy, she is a PERFECT ANGEL BABY. If you’re looking for a cuddly couch partner, she is it.

**PLEASE READ BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING-ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET** Meet Dante! This little approximately 6 year old, 7lb Red Pomeranian is the cutest little pocket pup ever! Dante needs a very specific home so please read his bio thoroughly before inquiring. Dante can be described as a spitfire, alpha, silly, and loving. He's basically a dominant little guy with a big attitude. We are looking for prior Pomeranian savvy owners that know the breed well. Dante would do best in a home where he is the only dog or where there is only one or two others at the most. He does not do well in a chaotic home or a large pack. He also needs an adult only home as he can be bitey/nippy at times when he gets alpha or when he thinks he's being playful. The most important thing to know is that Dante needs a home with a safe/secure yard where he can hang out and go potty as he will absolutely not walk on leash and is perfectly fine just being with you in the home or hanging out in the backyard. We need him in a home where he has owners that are patient, loving, and will give him the time he needs to just feel safe and secure in his new surroundings. A home where he is allowed on the furniture with you and that will provide dog ramps for safety is exactly what he needs. We have had a full blood panel done, full vaccines, had him neutered, and a full dental with extractions done. Due to having some extractions we need him in a home that will incorporate a home cooked based type diet into his moistened small kibble and/or wet food. Please note that Pomeranians do need daily brushing and grooming every 6-8 weeks. Once Dante has the time he needs to decompress and acclimate, he will be your best friend and love you forever! We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Dantes adoption fee is $600. Dante is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
