Story
Madeleine is ready to find her forever home! Here’s what her foster family has to say about her: “This girl is something special. She’s all things sweet, loving, and easygoing without a mean bone in her body. Speaking of bones, half the time she acts like she doesn’t have any! She loves being held on her back and rolling over for belly rubs. We joke that she’s broken because she just plops over, sometimes giving us an unexpected trust fall. Madeleine is perfect with everyone, from kids to dogs of all sizes. She’s overall very low-energy but still enjoys zoomies in the backyard and sometimes playing with toys or other dogs. She’s a big snuggler, laying right on your chest (usually on her back). She is potty trained, and we leave her out in the house without a kennel when we leave. Madeleine is such a gem, and she’ll make someone very lucky to have her!” Madeleine is a 3 1/2 year old Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix who weighs 14lbs. If you’re interested in adopting her, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2333590##

Story
Denali has been waiting for his forever home for over three years, making him our longest resident. When he first arrived at Rescue Row, he had several medical challenges, but thanks to dedicated care and vet visits, he’s now healthy and ready to find a family of his own. Per Wisdom Panel he is a mix of 8 different breeds, 82% Chihuahua, 6% Poodle, 3% Pekingese, 2% Dachshund, 2% Pomeranian, 2% Shih Tzu, 2% Cocker Spaniel and 1% Smooth Fox Terrier. This easygoing little guy is happiest curled up in a dog bed or a lap for a nap. He gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers companionship over playtime, and he’s even cat-friendly. His eyesight is fading, but he can still see a little. Denali is kennel trained but not potty trained, so he wears a belly band at home. He moves at a slow pace but enjoys the occasional stroll down the street. He’s a quiet dog who rarely makes a sound and is affectionate, though he only gives small kisses from time to time. Denali is a 12-year-old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix. If you think he’d be a great addition to your home, visit www.rescuerowinc.org to submit an adoption application!
