Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is our longest resident at the shelter. At just 4 years old, she's got a long life ahead of her and she sure would like to live it on the outside. Bonnie originally came to us with her cohort, Clyde, and their puppies. As time went by, her pups all left one by one and even Clyde found his way to a new home while Bonnie waits for her next partner in crime. Are you someone looking for a sidekick or maybe even a frenemy? Bonnie's your gal. If you like looking out your window at passersby, spying on your neighbors, and making judgmental comments (or just giving side eye), she'll provide a snaggletoothed smirk and throw some Grade A+ shade their way with you. If you like snuggling on your own terms... well, then you're probably out of luck because Bonnie concedes to no one. But, if you're willing to agree to her terms, we think you'll find it's well worth it. If you can earn Bonnie's trust, her heart will follow. Meet Snickers! Snickers is about 3 years old. He and his 2 buddies were saved from the same commercial breeding facility in Lancaster County. They were given up because this particular puppy mill has decided to shut down 🥳🥳 One of the 3 BFFs was adopted, leaving 2 in a loving foster home. These 2, Snowy and Snickers, have become heavily bonded and would love to go to their furever home together. Snickers is a small pup with a huge fun personality. He is doing very well in his foster home, having learned to trust and love. We are confident that he will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family. As with any puppy mill dog, he will require a family who understands his past and is patient with him. Our surviving breeder dogs are always extremely special, and we promise you there is no love out there that compares to theirs! This should go without saying, but we require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY.
