Hi, I’m Riya! I’m a five-year-old Pomeranian with a fluffy white coat and a big personality packed into my tiny frame. Weighing 4.65kg (10.2lb), I’m full of love, energy, and charm. I adore people, enjoy making new friends, and love being the center of attention. Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I can be spoiled with love while continuing to learn good manners.
My Personality
I am incredibly affectionate and love meeting new people. Whether I’ve known you forever or we’ve just met, I’ll happily trot over, lean in for pets, and even roll over to show my belly. I enjoy being held and will gladly snuggle into your arms. I haven’t had much experience with young children, but since I love attention, I’d likely enjoy their company with proper introductions. I am a true lap dog and crave human companionship. I love being close to my people and can get anxious when left alone for too long, so I need a family who understands that I may need time and training to feel comfortable when separated.
Social Skills
I’m just as friendly with dogs as I am with people. I love greeting other dogs and enjoy playful interactions. However, when it comes to food, I prefer to eat in peace. If another dog tries to take my food, I might give a little growl to let them know I want to eat my meal undisturbed. To avoid conflicts, it’s best if I’m fed separately in a multi-dog household. I haven’t met cats before, so my reaction to them is unknown.
Energy and Activities
I have a moderate energy level—I love outdoor activities, but once I’ve had my fun, I’m happy to relax and rest. I enjoy my walks and like to explore, though I do pull on the leash sometimes when I’m excited. A little leash training will help me improve my walking manners. I have an impressive ability to jump, so my new home should have high gates or barriers to keep me safe.
Training and Habits
I have a strong appetite and will try to snatch food if given the chance, so structured feeding and portion control will help me maintain a healthy diet. I may also try to steal food from other dogs, so mealtime supervision or separate feeding areas are recommended. When I want something—whether it’s attention, treats, or to go outside—I can be quite vocal. I might bark or whine to express my desires, but with patience and training, I can learn to communicate in a calmer way. I am mostly house-trained and prefer going potty outside, but I also know how to use pee pads when necessary. I am crate-trained and settle down well when inside my kennel.

I would thrive in a home where I get plenty of attention and companionship. Since I struggle with separation anxiety, a family that can gradually help me feel secure when left alone would be ideal. A household with another friendly dog could be a good match for me, but structured mealtimes and supervision will be important to ensure peaceful coexistence. I need a secure environment with high fences or gates due to my jumping ability. My future family should also be mindful of my strong food motivation and be prepared to guide me toward healthy eating habits.
