Story
Chata is a slightly timid but very sweet kitty who is looking for a quiet home where she can be the star of your heart. She didn’t get much of a chance to make kitten friends when she was younger, and at this point is reactive to other animals and would need to be a solo pet. She can be cautious at first, but is she’s highly motivated to get hugs, pets and snuggles from her people. She is a dashing little polydactyl with the softest coat, if you’re looking for a special kitty who will blossom into your new best friend, Chata is a deserving choice. Chata likes to play with wand toys, and all types of items she can chase. She loves to sink her teeth into the side of a fresh cardboard box. She would do best with adults only, or older kids who understand basic cat behavior, and definitely someone who wants to shower her with affection. Chata is fully box-trained and is on a variable diet of wet and dry food, preferring to rotate through different flavors and textures. Story
Peanut is a bundle of loving energy. Although he’s 4 years old, he plays like a kitten--blazingly fast at chasing wand toys. With a face that’s part tabby, curly ears, and a smidge of “Grumpy Cat”, his looks are unique! Smart as heck, sweet and friendly, he wants to be with you, and get pets, head and tummy scratches. Kitten Rescue saved Peanut from the LA shelter, where he had become blocked and couldn’t pee (a life-threatening situation). He had surgery to solve this and is fully healed, but his forever home needs to maintain him in a low-stress environment and monitor his bathroom habits to ensure he doesn’t get blocked again. He must be on wet (canned) food suitable for his condition to ensure his ongoing health. For these reasons, as well as his kitten-like qualities that require patience and dedicated time spent playing with him least twice a day, he would be best with experienced cat owners working from home or a family who’s willing to give him the care he needs. In return, Peanut will greet you at the door, follow you around the house, and keep you company while you work. His curly ears and bob tail, as well as his giant feet and polydactyl toes will enchant you; and his easy-going manner and friendliness with everyone make him a crowd-pleaser. Story
Sleek, shiny, and sporting the cutest polydactyl mittens, Richard is the definition of a curious scamp. He’s first on the scene for every new noise, toy, and adventure, zipping around the house like he owns the place (and honestly, he kind of does). Richard may be mischievous, but he’s also a total sweetheart. He loves shadowing his humans, supervising all activities, and showing off his goofy kitten energy. One minute he’s pouncing; the next he’s purring in your lap. Because he’s bursting with kitten zest, Richard needs another young, active cat in the home to play with, wrestle with, and learn from. He thrives with a buddy who can keep up (and, if you’re looking for two, he especially likes his foster siblings Samuel KRLA-A-86878 and Rosie KRLA-A-86877). If you’re ready for endless entertainment, extra toes, and a whole lot of charm, Richard is your guy. Please contact the foster at kizmetkats@gmail.com

Story
Flower is a captivating and independent feline in search of a patient and understanding adopter. A mature kitty, Flower has been at Kitten Rescue since 2015, relinquished by a former caregiver. He's a polydactyl cat (has extra toes on his paws), adding a unique touch to his appearance. He also does an excellent impression of the Muppet Sam the Eagle with that eagle-eye stare. Flower's quiet independence would be perfect for someone looking for a cat who won't require much attention but will provide a comforting presence in your home. Flower has a history of pancreatitis and is a bit elusive. Despite these challenges, he deserves a chance to find a loving home. If you're ready to open your heart to a cat who will be there for you in his own quiet way, Flower is waiting to become your loyal companion. Please contact the foster at Manager@KittenRescue.org

Story
Wayne came into my life unexpectedly and I have spent the last few months rehabilitating him and getting him healthy. He is shy, but the biggest sweetie once he warms up. He loves to be brushed and spend time with you watching movies or reading. We were beginning to leash train him, and he is a very curious dude. He has a smidge of a sensitive tummy and tuna really sets it off but he loves chicken a lot. He gets along great with cats and is very sweet and curious about them. I think a big home, possibly with a yard, would be great for him. Someone who works from home or has someone consistently in the home would be best for him as he is very social. He got his vaccinations recently and has been on flea prevention for 2ish months. He is neutered and will need to be brought to the vet for a check up since he came to me malnourished and underweight. I am based in SoCal so local applications will be considered.

Story
Jean-Pierre is a big, luscious, fluffy, goofball of a cat. He's not a year old yet, but he's already huge. And he's got the most gorgeous, luxurious tail you've ever seen, at least five inches wide, which he holds straight up in the air when he walks around, like a cartoon cat. We don't know his breed, of course, in that he was found rescued from a shelter, but he definitely has a ton of Maine Coon characteristics. Besides being so large and fluffy, he's the mellowest, most easy going cat you'll ever meet. He loves everybody and he wastes no time making himself at home on your lap, even if he just met you. He's unbelievably friendly! He'll greet you at the door, follow you around the house, hang out with you while you're at the computer -- you name it, Jean-Pierre wants to be right there with you. This handsome boy has a sweet girlfriend named Iris (A-87474), and the two of them are beyond cute together. They cuddle together, groom each other, play chase and zoomies together, and basically just adore each other. The perfect scenario would be for these two lovebirds to get adopted together. They would make each other and their humans so happy that it would be one big love fest day in and day out -- and who wouldn't want that?! Please contact the foster at susanwinsberg@sbcglobal.net

Story
Sweet, beautiful Tabitha was rescued from the streets in the nick of time. Unbeknownst to her, I could see 2 coyotes in my headlights coming straight for her. Tabitha was just happy to see me knowing I was bringing her a meal. I scooped her up and put her in a carrier before she even realized what happened! She's now totally acclimated to the good indoor life. She loves her warm, soft bed and regular meals. Tabitha is a beautiful, petite Main Coon mix with a gorgeous thick coat of long fur. She's only about 8lbs, she's all fluff! Tabitha is very sweet and affectionate but can be very shy at first with new people and places. She needs a patient human that will let her slowly blossom into the love bug that she truly is. Tabitha would do best adopted with her son Tiger KRLA-A-749 as they are bonded and get along together very well. She also gets along with most cats and with a proper introduction may be ok with a cat friendly dog. She would do best in a small, quiet home with just 1-2 adults to dote on her.
