Story
Habanero may be named after a spicy pepper, but this girl is way sweeter than she could ever be spicy! She’s a friend to all, a lover to her core and an exceptionally well behaved girl. Habanero would be an easy first dog, a wonderful family dog, a great companion dog to just about anyone ready to be loved. We think that Habanero may be a Pointer, Boxer mix, but… look at her. It’s hard to tell! She is a rescue, so these are just are best guesses. She’s estimated to be around 7 months old right now, and weighs in at 40 pounds. Spend some time with Habanero here: https://youtu.be/hHJtW15GlZU?si=PerSGBunwUxt4yjh Habanero is a social butterfly with people, she is immediately ready for love and affection the moment she meets a new friend. She’s a super affectionate lap dog, ready to love you. She adores kids too, preferring teens and tweens to the little ones. She loves treats, and takes them so gently! She’s a food motivated fast learner, so any further training will be rewarding and enjoyable for both of you. She’s already great on leash and knows her “sit” command. She has an adorable ability to walk on her hind legs, and we think she may learn to do it on command if you work with her on it. Habanero is a seriously well behaved girl. She has amazing impulse control when it comes to food, and she has a habit of “checking in” during playtime with other dogs. These are great signs for trainability and loyalty, Habanero is ready to become your PERFECT dog. She’s a solidly medium energy girl with the cutest zoomies, but good house manners and so much softness and gentleness. With other dogs, Habanero is playful, joyful and tolerant. She can zoom with the best of them, and when a dog is being a little too pushy, Habanero can take it! She would do well in a home with doggy siblings, but with her people-focused personality, we know that she could thrive as an only dog as well. Habanero was cat tested here at the rescue, and did well meeting our house cat Tom. We believe her to be cat-tolerant, capable of living in a home with dog savvy kitties. See her cat test for yourself in her video. Habanero is an adventure dog too! She’s just too perfect. She is amazing in the car, she will actually take a nap in the passenger seat. No roaming, whining or car sickness from this girl. She does really well in public spaces too, sticking to her handler’s side even when interested in new people, cars, or other animals. Take her on a picnic date, to events and patio restaurants, and watch her make friends and steal hearts. Habanero could easily thrive in any home style- apartment, townhouse, condo or house! She would love doggy siblings, but doesn’t need them, and could live with kitties. We think she would be a great family dog for kids ages 8 and up. She would love to be your little go-anywhere dog, and she definitely has the right temperament for it! With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Habanero with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Meet Bran – the Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug! Bran is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with a heart of gold, just waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy might be a little timid when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy for life. Bran absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans and thrives on affection and attention. Bran has been raised around multiple dogs and has no aggression at all – he’s truly a kind soul who loves the company of others, both canine and human. He’s also comfortable with cats and has been around our kitten, so he’d likely do well in a home with cats or other furry friends. With a healthy appetite and a love for chew bones, Bran has some favorite treats that he enjoys during his downtime. While Bran is a pro at sitting on command, he’s still working on his potty training skills (about 75% of the way there!). He’s a quick learner and, with patience and consistency, will pick it up in no time. He’s comfortable in his crate, sleeping through the night and resting peacefully when his people are out. Bran would make a wonderful addition to almost any household, whether you have other pets or he’s your one-and-only. His sweet, adaptable nature means he’d fit in well with just about any family. He’s ready to shower his new family with love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles! To add Bran to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2136640##

Story
MEET BUNNY! Bunny's journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love. Discovered living amidst the dangers of a construction site and facing threats from workers, Bunny's early life was far from easy. But her path led her to us, and with a bit of patience and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. Bunny is wonderfully trained—she’s comfortable in her crate, fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a calm and happy passenger in the car. However, she has made it clear that she cannot coexist with cats—there are no exceptions to this rule. She does, however, get along well with other well-balanced dogs and enjoys the camaraderie of a pack. Bunny is not just stunningly beautiful; she’s also incredibly kind-hearted. For the ideal adopters, a high fence is a must. Bunny has proven that she can climb any chain-link fence with ease, so her new home needs to be secure. If you're looking for a loyal and loving addition to your family, Bunny just might be the perfect fit. To add Bunny to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Story
Tubby was born in late 2020, we don't know exactly when. We believe he is a pudelpointer maybe with something else in him too. He is an anxious dog and needs someone that can give him rigorous training. We have tried for so many years and our living situation has completely changed, our financials have completely changed and we have 2 extremely small kids now and he is so anxious he does not do good with them.
