Don't let these nicknames fool you; Delta is strong on the outside and soft on the inside. She will snuggle next to you (and hog space) in bed, follow you around like a puppy, give kisses, and ask for belly rubs. Delta is such a smart and snuggly homebody. She loves ear rubs, belly rubs, taste testing while you cook, sleeping close, and chewing on Benebones. Outside, she's about sunning with her belly up (working on her freckles), swimming in kiddie pools, and running in the yard. Open the car door, and she'll jump right in. She loves the car. Sitter needed: 02/13/25 - 02/16/25 and/or 02/27/25 - 03/04/25 Poor Dolci was likely hit by a car. He was brought to an emergency clinic and then transferred to Austin Animal Center. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred again to APA for medical care. Dolci suffered from lacerations as well as a fractured femur. He underwent an amputation shortly after arriving at APA and is on the road to recovery. Dolci would heal much faster in a foster or adoptive home. Once fully recovered, Dolci looks forward to the tripod life! He'll be able to do most everything a dog with four legs can do. Please ask us about Dolci today!

Hi there, I am Raydan! At only two, this is my second stop to the shelter (at no fault of my own). My goal for 2025 is to get adopted into my forever home and be the bestest boy I can be. Shelter life has not been ideal but thankfully my foster mom swooped me up. Now let`s get down to the details...I am a professional walker on a leash. Meaning I will not pull and am happy to tag along on any and all walks. Fun fact: I am quite an athlete and I can run really fast. Don`t worry, I know when and where to let my athleticism out. Inside may you ask! Well I have been taught not to get on any furniture. If encouraged to get on any furniture, I make sure to ask and double check. I do value my independent time but I will never say no to snuggling. I am not a chewer as I prefer to simply catch up on some needed rest, plus there are bones for that. I am not terribly picky when it comes to my forever home as I thrive with or without other pups in the home. My foster mom would like to highlight that I do not bark or whine when left alone or when outside around others and are 100% housetrained.To sum it up I would like to say that I am quiet, collected, gentle and adaptable. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. Cleo is a very affectionate and active purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. We found her in the open fields of north Georgetown. She obviously had recently had a litter and was emaciated, likely bred and dumped as she is a purebred. She is fairly active and frequently escapes our yard, even though we've put up 6 foot fences (she jumps/climbs over them). She needs two things we can't provide long-term: 1) space to roam, and 2) companionship during the day. That could be someone who works from home or even another dog. She loves people, loves loves loves belly scratches, and loves to range far and wide. She's shown absolutely no aggression and in fact is very submissive when she meets someone new. She gets along with our active and friendly cat and is scared of our grumpy cat. We've chosen not to spay her because we realize a new owner may want to have a litter.
