Story
Delta, Princess D, Princess Belly Rubs, Splashy Swimmer, Silly Pants, and Beautiful Girl are all the names this girl goes by. Don't let these nicknames fool you; Delta is strong on the outside and soft on the inside. She will snuggle next to you (and hog space) in bed, follow you around like a puppy, give kisses, and ask for belly rubs. Delta is such a smart and snuggly homebody. She loves ear rubs, belly rubs, taste testing while you cook, sleeping close, and chewing on Benebones. Outside, she's about sunning with her belly up (working on her freckles), swimming in kiddie pools, and running in the yard. Open the car door, and she'll jump right in. She loves the car. If you're looking for a coffee drive-thru or a quiet place for a walk, count her in as your co-pilot, with her ears flapping out the window. Delta would love a friendly dog sibling (or two) who likes to play and keep her company while you are away. She has separation anxiety, but all she needs is a close doggie friend to keep her happy. Do you work from home or do the hybrid thing? She is a fantastic coworker who will either have her head on your lap or napping nearby. She'd love a family that is home more than away while she transitions to her new home and sibling. The sweet girl is looking for a calm, cheerful, and loving adult home. She likes people she can trust, so she prefers slow introductions. But when she is ready for love, it is all wiggles and kisses. Delta has so much personality and loves sharing it with close friends! Meet your girl (and bring hot dog treats)! See more fun times @pitstoptofurever, @princess.bellyrubs, and @thelongstayproject.

Cash came from Dallas, TX back in 2021 and has been in our care ever since. We'd love to see this sweetheart in a home as he's been in shelter long enough. Cash is the kind of house guest you'd love to have - respectful, well-behaved, and always up for cuddle time. He's crate-trained but also great free-roaming! He's got a heart as big as his love for toys, and he knows how to keep you company whether you're working from home, binge-watching Netflix, or you're just snoozing on the couch. Cash is looking for a family who understands that love and patience can work wonders. A cozy spot by the window for sunbathing, a basket full of toys, and a heart full of love - that's all Cash needs to feel at home. Ask a matchmaker about him today! Story
Sitter needed: 12/20/24 - 01/02/24 Meet Colette, the joyful pup who's bursting with love and ready to find her forever home! This spirited young girl adores butt scratches and is eager to share her cozy cuddles with a special someone. With a playful spirit, Colette is always up for a game of tug of war-it's one of her absolute favorites! Not only is she a fun-loving companion, but she's also quite the brainiac! Colette is eager to learn and loves showing off her tricks, with "spin" being her latest achievement. She's fully house-trained and a fantastic houseguest, happily roaming around without any destructive tendencies. Bath time? No problem at all! Colette is as easygoing as they come. She gets along well with other dogs and could happily share her home with a furry sibling. She's also spent some time with a pot-belly pig and tortoise on a fieldtrip; she was completely unphased so we think she could be great for a home with some farm animals too! If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will fill your life with joy, Colette is ready to be your new best friend! Come meet her and see just how special she truly is!

Story
Meet Braylynn, the delightful bundle of joy currently living in a foster home! This playful pup is full of energy and curiosity, making every day an adventure. At just a few months old, Braylynn is learning the ropes of life, and she's got a heart full of love to share. Braylynn gets along splendidly with her foster sister, a dog who is still figuring out the social scene. Their playtime is filled with excitement, though it sometimes requires a gentle nudge from her foster mom to keep the fun from getting too wild. While Braylynn is house-trained and knows basic commands like "sit" and "leave it," she's a clever little rascal who sometimes tests the boundaries when left alone. When her foster parents step out, she can't resist a little mischief, like jumping on the couch or snooping for snacks. To keep her safe and sound, a crate is her cozy nighttime retreat. This affectionate girl loves to cuddle and can often be found snuggling up on laps. She's a social butterfly, greeting new people with enthusiasm, although she's still warming up to some men. Braylynn's ideal home would be one where her new family is active and patient, ready to continue her training and provide plenty of outdoor adventures. With her playful spirit and loving nature, Braylynn is sure to bring endless joy and laughter to the right family. If you're looking for a smart, silly companion who's ready to fill your life with fun, Braylynn is your girl!

Story
Our family adopted Wendy from Austin Pets Alive in September of 2023. She’s about 6 years old, and is full of energy and affection. Although she’s an amazingly loving pup with people and children, she doesn’t get along with small animals or other female dogs (severe aggression), but does ok with male dogs of a similar size. She has been so sweet with our 2 small kids except for a pawing issue. She paws at people to show them how much she loves them, but she thinks she’s a much smaller dog than she is. So much so that she’ll crawl right up into your lap if you’ll let her! We’ve decided to re-home her because we live in a small house in a big subdivision, and it’s not safe for the other animals here when she escapes from time to time to explore. She needs LOTS of attention, room to run, and a lot more physical affection - all things that we unfortunately are not in a position to give to her. As much as we love her, we know she deserves better…

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Billie is a sweet and loving doggo. I was told she's 1/2 GSP and 1/2 Aussie, meaning she is high energy and requires daily exercise/ walks. She loves to play and run around outside. I take her for runs often and this helps get out her energy out. Rescued from neglectful situation when she was 8 months old. Not socialized at all up until I adopted her, which probably contributed to her anxiety at times. She lives with two other dogs now and does well. Challenging behaviors: resource guarding - must be fed alone, and no food bowl left lying around. She is fed separately from my other dogs and bowls picked up immediately. Pulls on the leash and get whiny when seeing other dogs on walks. Despite this, she loves walks and they are a must! I have taken her to off leash trails, and she loves that! No child home would be best. Yard/ land is a must. Kennel and potty trained. Commands: sit, down, out, off, kennel. Will train easily!! Very sad I cannot take her with me. Needs good home
