Story
Meet Ralphie (Cow A Bunga) Male English Pointer / Hound MixDOB: 10/16/21ADOPTION FEE: $100.00Available Now!***Animal Selective***Ralphie has been back at the shelter with us for WAY too long! He was adopted as a pup but returned later due to some unforeseen circumstances with his previous owner. He is a big boy packed full of energy! He would love an outdoorsy person who's willing to play fetch, take him to the lake, take him hiking, etc. He loves his pool time and playing in water. Once he's used up some energy, he's ready to give the biggest kisses and sit down for some pets. He is animal selective, so if you have another dog, we suggest bringing them with when you come to meet Ralphie! One of our volunteers has worked a lot with him, Ralphie does really good walking on a leash. He is also learning basic commands, such as "sit, lay, stay." Most of his training is using treats, but he is a smart boy. All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list. APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/202887123155152
