Story
Hello, my name is Lola! I am an English Pointer born 7/18/22. I came to Richardson rescue because my owner died and there was no one to take care of me and my siblings. She has a gentle temperament and we have observed no aggressive issues. Being a hunting dog and living outside, she does have a bit of shyness that her new family will need to work on with her. She is very submissive when she meets another dog and would do great, if not better, with another dog in the home. She walks well on a leash and loves walks. She loves to run also so an active family with a fenced yard would be perfect. Lola also loves cuddles and has the softest fur ever! Like velvet to the touch. Lola is spayed, microchipped and current on all medical, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.        - Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2025, 2:08 pm

Story
Louie was born 7-18-22 and has been at the rescue since July, 2023 waiting patiently on his forever family.  This boy has a submissive personality and does great with other dogs. His dad passed away and there was no one that wanted to take him in so, he came to us. He loves kisses and cuddles and his fur is soft like velvet. We love to hug him. He walks well on a leash now and loves to play with the other dogs here. He should do well with most any active family that has room for him to run. He does have a little shyness at first but that heart of his wins out every time. You just have to meet him. Louie is neutered, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2025, 6:20 pm

Story
Boysenberry is an 9 week old, almost 16 pound, white with a black eyepatches. Boysenberry is very sweet and laid back, for now, and loves to be cuddled! We know Boysenberry has some other breeds in him besides Terrier, but we are not for sure, but possibly some type of hound or Pointer?  Boysenberry is having fun hanging out with his brother, until adopted, and playing with the other dogs in the house.  He has started crate training and loves going outside to run in the grass and mud.   If you are interested in adopting Boysenberry, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** March 10, 2025, 5:56 pm

Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm
