Story
Lila is a sweet and spunky little puppy with a lot of love to give and a lot of play to have! She absolutely loves kids and other dogs and, well, basically everyone she meets! She's about 10 weeks old and, with all that puppy energy, she would love a home with another male pup who wants to wrestle, run, and tug with her. Lila is a Pointer/Pittie mix, so she is a smart and loyal girl and a dream to have around! And she is an expert at the aggressive puppy kisses that can only make you laugh and smile. At snuggle time, you will find her curled up in your lap, so make sure you grab yourself a snack and have everything you need with you before she climbs on and settles in for a loving cuddle sesh, because you won't want to interrupt your lovefest to get something you forgot in the other room. She is crate trained, is working on (and doing well with) potty training, and has started coming to you when called. This smarty-pants girl is a keeper! Adopt Lila! All Philly Bully puppies under 8 months must go to a home within 2 hours of Philadelphia. Philly Bully Team will prioritize homes with another young and playful dog, but we will also adopt to homes that sign their puppies up for training classes prior to adoption. You can read more about our puppy adoption policies on our website.

weight 16 lbs age: 15 weeks as of 6/22/2024 adoption donation $699         Chandler and Monica were found on their own in a rural part of Mississippi but fortunately Wags stepped in to take the pair in. They are both friendly and mellow puppies  who will make a wonderful family dogs. Chandler looks like he has pointer in him, He’s adorable, white speckled legs! There may be some Chihuahua or something that is keeping him on the small side, he will likely be a smallish medium size dog when full ground.      Chandler is such a sweetheart! He loves everyone he meets, his tail wags when he sees New people and he absolutely loves to play with other dogs. Chandleris very cuddly and doing great with house training.     Chandler has had his  puppy shots, is microchipped, will be neutered in the northeast when he  is older, Wags will pay for her spay at one of the clinics we use or reimburse what we pay if an adopter decides to use their own vet.      Like any puppy Chandler  needs someone who will be around for him  and give him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be. Story
Meet Dottie Dottie is 52 lbs of pure love! We think she is a Pointer mix, and at little more than 7 months (her DOB was 10-25-23) she is already a large dog. Despite her young age, she is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows some basic commands (sit, off, leave it, let's go, off, go to bed). Dottie was one of a litter of six puppies born to a stray in MIssissippi. She's currently being fostered in Collingswood, NJ, which is where meet & greets will take place prior to adoption. Dottie is very affectionate, absolutely loves to be petted, and still thinks she is a lap-sized puppy! She's very smart, curious, and playful. When she's not rough-housing with other dogs at her foster home, she is learning manners and impulse control. Like most puppies, she still benefits from a nap during the day, needs frequent potty breaks, is getting used to loose-leash walking, and is learning to love car rides, too.  Her perfect family will have time to spend playing with, and to continue socializing and training Dottie. A fur-sib or two, and/or human children would be nice but not essential. As long as she gets plenty of daily exercise and attention, she will be a very happy dog. Due to her size, a securely fenced yard is required. Continued use of a crate is highly recommended! Exercise and activity needs: Moderate Shedding amount: Moderate Grooming needs: Low; occasional bath and nail trim Reaction to new people: Friendly, curious Good with dogs Good with cats Good with people; MUST supervise with young children   Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Please read Suzanne Clothier's wonderful article, "It Takes a Pack to Raise a Puppy!" PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us atAlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 3, 2024, 10:16 pm
