Rufus is a 1.5-year-old English Pointer and German Shorthaired Pointer mix who’s spent his entire life in an apartment. He’s never had the chance to explore wide-open spaces or experience the joy of the outdoors. But Rufus is ready for a fresh start—a life filled with love, adventure, and the confidence to embrace the world. While Rufus is playful and eager to learn, his strong prey drive means he needs a home with no cats or small dogs. He’s looking for a family who will help him build confidence and guide him toward his best self. With patience and support, Rufus will become a loyal and loving companion who’s ready to take on life’s adventures by your side. The adoption fee includes Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping If the dog required any other vet treatment or surgery while in our care, this is also included in the adoption fee. All known medical information is explained to adopters prior to adoption. All our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy and a small bag of kibble. We put a lot of work, time, care and love into each one of these dogs. They are treated like one of our own. We are open and transparent about the dogs in our care.

I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. When meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. 😀 If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. Domino is a victim of divorce. Domino is a great dog, he wants a family he can love and protect. Domino is 4 years old, came in from a rescue in Antigua when he was around 2 yrs old. The family had him for 2 years. He has great energy, loves to walk & play but will also relax, not hyper or over active. In last year the family dynamic has changed drastically, there has been a lot of stress in the home. Because of this, Domino's behavior shifted from laid back to being stressed, since he's been here, he is happy and content, listens well. The reality is the family just didn't want to deal with Domino's stress on top of their own. He will need a balanced, happy, stress free home, he thrives for the security of his people loving & praising him. He can have another dog in the home but he is content being the only dog, and can be left alone, would love being a huge part of your family. DUKE is a POINTER MIX, 4 years old and weights approx 24kg. "DUKE" was found by a SPFG friend who was out in the woods with her dog. He was unconscious and starved almost to death, just skin on bones. He was one of the countless puppies hunters abandon when they discover they can't use them or sell them for hunting or breeding. Anastasia took him straight to our vet and called us. After a long phase of convalescence, followed a long period of recuperation; but now "DUKE" is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, also housebroken and leash trained. "DUKE" is an absolutely carefree boy who just loves everyone and everything, dogs, cats, people, strangers, bees, toads, car rides, doctors, butterflies, food. He gets excited seeing his friends even after a 5 min parting. He is curious, inquisitive and as a hunting dog has unlimited energy outdoors, whereas he calms inside. "DUKE" is a sensitive boy, very affectionate who needs gentle handling. He would be happy in any type of family, if he has ways to spend all that energy.
