Ducky was dumped on our property along with 4 pups. The pups have since disappeared. Pointer/bird dog/gundog of some sort. She has not been spayed because she will not let me close enough to touch her. But growing up with dogs I can tell she is full of love and playfulness. If an adopter can be located, I will humanely trap her and transport. She has a new, large dog house that I will include. I will also give you $200 for shots/spaying. I am not sure how much longer I will be at my current location so I am trying to find her a loving home. I already have two cats and will not be able to take her with me. She is skittish until you start feeding her regularly, then she exhibits more loving/playful body language, but still doesn't like folks close. She has obviously been traumatized. She needs a home with a big yard for her to run free. Gets along with my cats and other strays but has some food aggression issues. Something is wrong with one leg. Will add better pics soon.

We are mixed breed, pointers, and weigh about 40 pounds. We are 4 - 5 years old. We are bonded - always lived together. We are spayed and have all our vaccinations. We love a larger fenced yard and enjoy running and playing. We are capable of being indoors for several hours while our owner is away. We will love to be with you and next to you. We have not been with very young children so you will have to help us a little. Our owner has to go into assisted living and cannot keep us. Please help to find us a great home!

Spots is a female mixed breed, possibly English Pointer and Springer Spaniel (Breed guesses are from Apple AI) and she is around 1 year old. Spots is a shy girl, but she is new to the shelter, so we are sure she will come out of her shell with some time. She is very friendly and does like attention and pets. She walks well on a leash. She weighed 63 pounds when she was spayed. As with all of our dogs, please bring any children and/or dogs when meeting Spots. Spots is spayed, vaccinated, and wormed and her adoption fee is $80. Story
Allison is a total sweetheart who had been living on the streets with her two boys Whitley and Conley. The trio has adjusted well to shelter life. Allison has been a wonderful mama to her two boys. When we initially responded to an injured mother dog and her two pups, we didn't know that we would get such a well rounded family. Since the day we picked them up Allison has always put her pups first. For instance, after catching her and preparing to feed the trio, she stepped away to let her boys eat first, and then she would eat. Allison slept in the middle of her two boys, and always keeps an eye on them, especially when strangers pass by. She has never shown any negative behavior signs. While we are working on socializing the boys separately, we do allow her pups to have some playtime with her, which she becomes a total goofball during this time. Since we've had her, she's picked up on routines quick and has kept a clean kennel fairly often. She can hop over a normal height chain link fence, so a privacy fence is a must have!
