Story
Loki is an approximately 8 month old playful, loving dog! Please watch his video for an example. He needs a new home right away. I was diagnosed with cancer and must be hospitalized for surgery on 11/14. Because of my declining health I can no longer keep up with his energy and strength. His overwhelming power of love as I like to think of it. BECAUSE HE IS STILL GROWING THE NEUTER WITHIN 30 DAYS RULE IS EXTENDED PER ADOPTAPET. He will shower you with lots of attention and affection. He is very smart and learns quickly (only took one day to house train). He's still growing and has lots of energy. He adores everyone and loves to play with kids and other dogs. Because of his high energy he needs a yard to run in or frequent walks and frequent play time. My declining health prevents me from providing him with the exercise and attention he needs. It breaks my heart to give him up, but I know he'll be happier with a family or someone that can give him the love and time he deserves. Please.

Story
(DOB 01/20/2021) Mia is a low-maintenance pup and is always up for a snuggle session. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to share their love and affection with. Mia's heart is as big as her adorable paws, making her the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and easy-going girl into your life! Mia will do well with furry siblings or an owner that can provide enough attention so she could also be an only dog. She is also good with children but is startled by quick/sudden movements. So older, more experienced dog-kiddos are best suited for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Other than that, she really loves everyone she meets. She is already both house and crate trained and is well behaved in her crate. She enjoys going out for walks and is leash trained. She is learning new things like car rides and is a little nervous at first but settles in nicely on the drive.  Mia has the silkiest ears with the cutest little freckles on them. She has a smile that will warm your heart and radiate throughout the day. She is at a great age and is a wonderful mid-size. Plus, she can do that super cute brow furrow that wrinkles up and is so adoarble. She really checks off so many boxes and will add so much love to you and your family!! If you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love, Mia wants to meet you! Fill out an application today! As part of Mia's $300 adoption fee she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you have any questions about this girl you can email dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Mia, you can fill out an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet tab on our website www.pawsforlifenc.org.  ##1652954##

Story
(DOB 11/13/2022) Meet Mason, the lovable goofball with a heart of gold! This adorable dog is all about spending quality time with his favorite people. Whether it's going for long walks, snuggling on the couch, or playing fetch in the park, Mason is up for any adventure as long as he's with you!   Mason is a social butterfly when it comes to interacting with other dogs. He loves making new friends and playing around, but he prefers smaller play groups to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Cats, on the other hand, don't quite understand Mason's playful nature, so it's best to give them a wide berth!   Don't be fooled by his silly antics – Mason is one smart cookie! He has mastered impressive tricks like sitting, spinning, and shaking, all for the promise of a tasty treat. Easy to crate, he'll only make a peep if he can see you, so you can rest assured that your home will stay peaceful with Mason around, but when he does bark, it is loud.    When it comes to toys, there's one that reigns supreme in Mason's heart: a squeaky rubber chicken. He'll toss it, bat it, and have a grand old time playing with it all by himself. If you want to join in on the fun, just throw it and watch Mason happily chase after it! A rubber Frisbee is also a favorite, though he doesn't always bring it back – hey, sharing can be overrated!   Be prepared for some love and affection when you meet Mason. This big boy has a knack for leaning into you, seeking scratches and cuddles. He might not realize his own size, and he can be a bit clumsy at times. So, older kids who understand his exuberance are his best playmates!   With Mason by your side, you'll always feel safe and secure. He's a natural watch dog who will bark at any stranger. Always the protector, he would do better in a home that doesn't have a have a lot of company in and out, and will need proper introduction to household visitors.  Mason embodies the true meaning of loyalty and will be by your side through thick and thin.   So, if you're looking for a hilarious, loving, and slightly clumsy companion, look no further than Mason the dog. He's ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless joy. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with this lovable goofball!   As part of Mason's $325 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Mason, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1708177##

Story
Name/Breed/Age: Healy, Boxer/Pointer Mix, Puppy Personality: Shy and sweet Likes: Playing with other dogs and snuggling with his humans Health History: Perfectly perfect health history. Up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and neutered Healy loves to snuggle, whether it's with his foster brothers and sisters or with his human friends. This sweet guy might be shy but he is full of love. Healy enjoys cuddling up and getting cozy, making him the perfect companion for anyone who loves to relax and enjoy quiet moments together. His foster mama say he reminds her of a little old man in a puppy body. He will verbally grumbal when he is tired or unhappy, but it is the cutest (and funniest) noise! He take a while to warm up, but will be the most loyal and loving companion when he finds his people! He is quite the introvert, but that means when he isn't on your lap, he is happy to be snoozing away in another room. He certainly doesn't need constant entertainment which is a refreshing change for a puppy. Healy is working really hard on his potty training and is already fully crate trained and SLEEPS all night! If you're looking for a cuddly and affectionate puppy who will bring warmth and love into your life, Healy is the perfect choice. Come meet him and see how this little bundle of joy can make your family complete!   ##2056173##

Story
If you are of the opinion that a dog should be brave, strong, loyal, active, and loving, meet Dot. At just under one and a half years old, Dot in is an incredibly beautiful, striking dog. Named for the striking amber blaze that crowns her head, Dot is fit, athletic loyal, intelligent, and affectionate. Equally at home at the park, on a run, and on the couch, Dot just wants to be where her family is, whether that family is her foster parents, her foster dog siblings, or all of us together; when she is with us, she wants to play and snuggle. Her favorite toys are squeakers that thrash or bones that she can chew, and she really, really loves her MilkBone Marrow Treats. She would do well with a fenced yard or regular visits to a dog park where she can play and run off her energy, and indoors she does well with toys and puzzles that occupy both her mind and her need to play. In terms of manner, she has not been tested with cats or children, she knows sit, down, and wait, and her potty training is progressing nicely. She has shown herself to want to be the head of the pack, so placement with a more submissive or easy going dog would be best. Dot is an incredible, beautiful dog, who is ready to go on days of athletic adventures and enjoy many evenings of puzzle games and treats with a new family. Please would you come see her today? Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Ticked Weight: 46 Age: 2yrs 2mths 1wks
