You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ZORROLoki is approx 3yrs old and and 60lbs, housebroken and crate trained.  He enjoys his crate and goes into it when ever he is looking to relax. Loki has been good with other dogs, seems to prefer smaller or female dogs and would do well with an equally playful dog.  He walks well on a leash, would love to agility as he is very athletic and loves to jump. We would recommend Loki in a home without young children and with someone who can provide him structure and consistency. He walks well on the leash and loves time at the beach.   *reduced adoption fee $250*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Eleanor! Eleanor is a lovely lady, approximately 2-3 years old, with a heart as warm as her fur. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to resilience and trust. Her journey started in a loud shelter, where she was a new mother to a litter of 8 precious puppies. Eleanor's protective instincts ran deep, making it challenging for her to trust humans. This situation put her and her little ones at risk of euthanasia. But then, a ray of hope shone through when Eleanor found her way to St. Francis Farm. Over time, in the safe and loving environment of the farm, she has made incredible strides in opening up and learning to trust our dedicated staff. Once she feels comfortable, Eleanor transforms into a total mush! It does still take a little time forher to warm up to new faces. We are looking for someone that would be comfortable coming to the farm and getting to know this precious girl. She adores being close to her person and is always eager to earn treats with her impeccable behavior. You'll find her peacefully content in her kennel, only becoming vocal when it's feeding time. Eleanor is a social butterfly among her fellow canine friends, enjoying their company and outdoor playtime. Yet, she equally cherishes those quiet moments when she can curl up in your lap and bask in the affection you share. Eleanor is a true testament to the transformative power of love and care. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll warm your heart, consider welcoming Eleanor into your life. Come meet her at St. Francis Farm and experience the magic of her journey firsthand. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 26, 2024, 2:04 pm

Story
Fiona needs a new foster or foster-to-adopt home. About three years old, Fiona came from a large hoarding situation. She is a shy, gentle girl who needs TLC and time to get comfortable in a home. Fiona loves other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. The activity level of small children would scare her, so an adult home or one with older children would be ideal. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard, and a family who has experience and patience. To foster or foster-to-adopt Fiona please fill out our application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/foster-application NOTE: Foster or foster-to-adopt families must be located within the state of Connecticut.

Lyla just loves playing with other dogs She's shy with new people and takes a little time to realize you're just a new friend she hasn't met yet - but a few treats and some time and she'll figure it out! She'd love a home with a securely fenced yard (she hasn't figured out leashes yet) and a dog friend or two - and would be happy to live with teenaged children. This sweet girl came from a large hoarding situation and she has come so far! These days she's a happy girl - and is ready and waiting to find her forever home. If that home could be yours, please fill out an application - https://www.furryfriendsct.org/adoption-application

Story
Spot is a very handsome 5 year old pointer/hound mix. Spot was being trained to be an emotional support dog, and although he made great progress... he found squirrels or other dogs on a walk a little too exciting. He is very energetic and will love a hiking and jogging family. He loves his family and gives lots of kisses and snuggles. Spot knows basic commands and is neutered, totally housebroken and up to date on vaccines. He will be very happy to be your one and only! If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.

Story
Woof (Hi)... My name is Lita! I am an adorable little girl that packs a big punch! I am super athletic; I run, leap and bounce everywhere I go. I am super fast and definitely need someplace that I can safely run around. I am house trained and am ok with living in small spaces, like an apartment, as long as you take me somewhere to play! I love to play with toys - I will collect them all, while I am running around. I am also very sweet, but shy at first. Once we get to know each other, I will be your best friend! I am good with other dogs - even great big ones! I am getting pretty good with the house cat here, too! Please take me home, so I can love you, and be loved! I am currently living in Puerto Rico, but there is a flight that I can take on December 31st to the New York area, and then we can start our New Year together! ***When inquiring about one of our beautiful pups, please be sure to include your phone number.
