Story
Say hello to Georgia, a 2-year-old pointer with a zest for life and a nose that never quits! True to her breed, Georgia is full of energy, curiosity, and charm — the perfect combination for someone who loves the outdoors and is ready to explore the world with a four-legged sidekick.Georgia is super friendly and greets everyone with a happy tail and a sparkle in her eye. She`s pretty good on leash, especially when she`s had a chance to get her wiggles out — though be prepared for some serious sniffing along the way! Her pointer instincts are strong, and she takes her `sniffari` duties very seriously. She’d thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and of course, love. Whether you`re into hiking, jogging, or long walks through the neighborhood, Georgia is ready to be right by your side, nose to the ground and tail in the air.If you`re looking for a joyful, high-spirited companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with fun and affection, Georgia is your girl.Come meet her and see just how exciting life can be with Georgia in it!

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Chaco is a 6-year-old pointer cross. She is a real people dog. (She has never been around young children or small dogs.) She walks well on a leash, travels well in a car, knows sit, stay, wait, down, and aims to please her owners. Unfortunately, she’s decided that she does not like cats and cannot be at home with any feline friends. She is kennel trained but is used to her people being home most of the day, so she spends mostly only nights in the kennel. She is house-trained and has impeccable house manners. She knows to stay off the furniture—she has her own bed. She will let you know if she needs to go out. She is not destructive when left loose in the house. She has not used a doggy door, but would no doubt catch on quickly, as she is a very smart dog. She will wait in the back of the SUV (after the back is opened) until her leash is put on and you tell her it’s okay to jump out. She loves taking walks and long road trips, having even mastered elevators. We have been working with her, and she does not bark when the doorbell rings or when she hears people in the hall in hotels. She does find it hard not to greet newcomers who arrive at the door, as she loves all humans, but she does not run away when the door is opened to visitors. She loves to be near her people and will sleep at your feet while you work. She would make a great addition to a family looking for a playful, loyal, obedient, and friendly dog. If you're interested in meeting Chaco, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Story
Meet Sadie! She is as sweet as can be. She does not do well with small dogs and needs a dog her size or bigger. When she has a playmate she loves to go back and forth being submissive and dominant, however she does take correction well with a dominant dog. She loves all people and gets the zoomies when she is excited. She requires a meet and greet with any current dog in the family. She knows how to sit and loves to play. She has done well walking on a leash with our staff so far. She does need to be separated in a kennel at night, as sometimes gets startled in her sleep, which has caused issues in the past with other dogs, otherwise she is happy to have a playmate. You can meet Sadie at our main ranch location or email dogswmr@gmail.com

Ashley is the sweetest girl! She is SO excited to get her harness on so she can go for a walk! She is good on the leash, and is a joy to walk. She is curious about her surroundings and loves to get lots of pets and hugs when she sits next to you on a bench. She would probably also love to sit next to you on a couch while the two of you watch your favorite show or movie! She has done well with other dogs. She has soft fur and beautiful expressive eyes that you will notice right away! Come meet her! Maybe you will be the one to give her the forever family that she deserves!
