Story
Meet our active, happy boy Loki!! Loki is a male pointer mix around 3-4 years old. He is incredibly toy driven and loves playing fetch or running around the yard on his own chasing a ball. Loki was rescued in 2022 when a family member was discovered to be deathly allergic to dogs. Loki is good with people and has an extremely high prey drive so he would do best in a home with no other animals.

No Dogs Left Behind works hands-on with local activists through emergency response, pulling dogs directly from slaughterhouses, dog meat trucks, wet markets and traffickers. Our mission extends beyond borders worldwide, advocating for the creation and enforcement of animal welfare laws, and raising awareness for a cruelty-free, sustainable world in which no animal is violated, exploited, tortured or slaughtered for commercial goods or profit. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bogey (MS) is a male Pointer mix estimated to be 1.5 years old at the time of intake in July 2024. Bogey is up to date on core vaccinations and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless  there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Bogey is good with people and other dogs. This big, goofy, silly mush of a dog loves to be wherever his people are. He  adores every dog he’s ever met--big ones, little ones, even the ones who wish he would go away! Bogey is not a fan of being crated but hasn't destroyed anything (except for stealing food) while roaming free. This handsome, fabulous boy is looking for his happy ever after with his forever family. If Bogey's path to happiness leads to your front door, please apply online to adopt Bogey (MS) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jack M and his family come to rescue from Texas. He is a pup to Bailey, and is thought to be a Heeler/Pointer mix. He was born in June 2018. Jack M did have an unfortunate incident during birth - his toes were torn off--but that doesn't bother Jack M from being fully mobile as he loves to race around with his foster siblings! He is a sweet and playful boy! Jack M is fearful of new people, dogs and situations and needs a lot of space as he doesn't like to feel closed in.  It takes him some time to adjust and warm up to new things in his life.  For that reason, a quiet, adult only home away from the hustle and bustle of a city is best for Jack M.  If you are that special someone who can open their heart to Jack M and continue to work with him on realizing that the world and people can be good, please apply online to adopt Jack M at http://www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org  RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:32 am
