We are hoping to rehome our sweet dog Ozzy w/an experienced adopter. Ozzy is an anxious dog who is dog aggressive and recently shown aggression to our young child, so he now has a dog and people bite history. We want to avoid euthanasia as we believe he has a lot of life and love left to give! Needs a fenced yard as he LOVES to be outside, chase squirrels, and be on patrol! He loves to play and go on walks. He is a cuddle bug but understands he is not allowed on the furniture/bed. He is potty trained. Up-to-date on all vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm. Knows basic commands: sit, stay, wait, spin, heel. Doesn't always come when called. We believe it would be best for Ozzy to be in a home w/out pets. He currently lives with a cat that he adores but we do not think he would like another cat. He should also be in a home w/out children or children who are 10+ years old. He would like a lot of attention but also loves taking his afternoon naps in the sun. We want the best for him!

We rescued our Maeve in October of 2020 from the APA. She was born April 8, 2020, so she is now about 4.5 years old. She is a mix; however, she primarily looks like a German Short-Haired Pointer, as she does actively point at things outside. She is a very active, energetic, and playful girl. She absolutely loves a doggie date and running around a large yard. She is completely potty/house trained. It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to re-home our Maeve girl. We have a toddler and we are expecting our second later this Summer. Unfortunately, she has struggled in building a relationship with our toddler. Often, she stays away from him and when he does try to interact she seems to get spooked. Due to recent incident where Maeve responded aggressive to our toddler, we are not able to keep both her and our littles ones safe and separate. Outside of our experience with our own toddler, she has done well with older children that visit!
