Story
Meet Fanta, one of the sweetest Pointers out there. She is moderately to highly active, is 18 months old, weighs 33 lbs and is Black & White. Fanta was found as a stray in Kos, Greece. We are not sure of her lineage, but best guesses are an English and French Pointer mix. Fanta is a very happy girl that gets along with everyone she meets. She enjoys playing and running with her foster canine siblings, she is most happy when her foster family is outside with her watching her run and pointing out the birds & squirrels.  Fanta is very good inside. After a good run outside she will relax in her crate or on a recliner or the couch. Fanta has not had an accident in the house and will go to the door when she needs to go out, if we do not see her, she does get very active, running from us to the door. She has met a toddler, she wanted to give kisses and be as close as possible. We really see Fanta’s timid side with larger, louder groups of people, she will back off and watch from a distance and let people come to her. She is afraid of loud noises and bangs. Because of this, Fanta is being adopted as a companion pet only. She is living in a multi-dog and cat home without any issues. Fanta would do best with a stable family that keeps a schedule, she likes routine. Because Fanta is timid, it is encouraged that she is taken to formal obedience classes and continue to work on socializing her to new environments. She will need a home with a safe and secure place to run; she has been tested with a 5-foot chain-link fence without issues. Fanta will need a physical fence. Since she is timid, she will not be able to go to a home with an invisible fence. Fanta is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and is on monthly preventive. She is being fostered in Iowa. ##2185760##

Story
STILL LOOKING FOR MY NEW PERSON(S) Kaleesi is a very sweet dog, but I lost my husband and can no longer afford to take care of her. I also have a 2 year old so she doesn't get attention anymore. She has a high prey drive and is not good around cats or other small animals. she does get used to dogs but needs to be introduced slowly. She has been around my grandson since he was an infant and he is now 2 also my granddaughter and she is now 3. She likes to sleep with blankets, but she chews small holes in them. She knows many commands, is a good watch dog, can use a doggie door or tell you when she needs to go out. She walks on a leash. She is 7 years old now. No health problems.

Story
A few facts about Junie: Her favorite activity is chasing tennis balls. She WILL bring them back to you, and even hold onto it with her foot after she drops it so you can pick it up before it rolls away. After about 10 minutes of chasing tennis balls she's ready to morph into a couch potato. She settles down VERY nicely and enjoys eye contact and snuggles. Junie is quite intelligent. She already knows sit and she is motivated to learn, even more to earn herself some treats. Junie can, at times, be moderate to high energy. She would do best with a family that has a fenced in backyard for her to run, or is committed to taking her for daily walks. Junie has REALLY soft fur! All the better to snuggle with, we say! Junie has been waiting for too long to find her forever family. She is spayed, up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is ready to go!
