Meet Tib! This adorable little boy was on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter due to have a wonky front leg. We rescued him and our vets think he had an unknown injury that never healed right, but we are doing our best to fix it and make it better for him. Tib is the perfect mix of calm and fun puppyness! Any family would be lucky to scoop him up. He is great with other dogs and all people.

My roommates and I are unfortunately unable to care for our dog, Rookie, due to changing schedules and unsuitable housing. We hope we can find the perfect home for him that better suits his needs. Rookie is a 3 year old Pointer Mix who is full of energy and love. His favorite activities include going on walks and cuddling on the couch. He is an incredibly intelligent boy and loves to learn new tricks. He is also super active and would benefit greatly from a house with a yard and fence. However, as a result of this high energy, he often jumps up on people to greet them. Rookie does have some separation anxiety which we have been working on, independently and with a trainer. We have found that once he settles into a consistent routine, he does a lot better with this. Additionally, Rookie is a wonderful protector, but can bark and growl when he sees other dogs as a result of this. Rookie is a wonderful dog and we hope that we can find a home that is able to provide for him well.

Meet our friend Anecdoche (Andy for short). This sweet, energetic, guy has been waiting a long time for his forever home! Andy is a seven-year-old pointer mix who has plenty of pointer energy. He would love a calm, adult-only home where he can go on lots of walks or runs and play ball outside -- his favorite game! An avid nature lover, Andy also likes to watch birds and squirrels. Andy is crate-trained and house-trained. He is a very smart boy and knows basic commands, and is always up for learning more. He is currently in board and train with The Pet Connection and would continue with classes and support after adoption. Andy would do well in a home with another pet (including cats!), as long as he had a proper, slow introduction. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and ready to be your bestie! To learn more about this sweet guy and make a pet connection, please call or text us at 913-671-PETS (7387). Andy's staying in Beloit, Kansas, but transport to the KC metro is available!
