Birdie is a very loving, playful dog! She was taken in a year ago when a friend was not ready to care for a puppy. Since then, she has been a sweet friend to my kids and other dogs while we have been looking for a forever home for her. She needs regular walks and space to play. She is a fast learner and eager to please. We have a baby coming at the end of December and would love to resettle her before then.

Hello! Mystery is my name. The staff think that is fitting considering I am a unique looking doggo. Don`t I have the cutest eyebrows? I came to the shelter with my brother, Brownie. Have you met him too? Staff said I am a young, spunky thing that would love to have a big yard to run around in. I don`t seem too interested in toys yet, but I definitely love treats! I need some practice on my manners inside, but if you train me I will be your companion forever.

Meet Claire Bell! This sweet girl came into the Osawatomie Animal Shelter when her owner surrendered her for chasing cats. She is a beautiful pointer girl who looks to be purebred, but we are not positive. She previously lived with 4 other dogs and is said to be very dog friendly. Claire Bell is younger and would like an active home as she needs exercise and can jump a 4 foot fence.
