LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! - Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "We went to Jester Park Ruby had fun going for a hike! She loved riding in the car hanging her head out the window. She would not eat any doggy treats but loved her ice cream pup cup. She is excited and can be hyper at first, but she is smart and trainable. She likes to be brushed." - Loves going on walks and does best with a harness- May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended) - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
